Make Your Jeans Last!
Hollywood like the rest of America loves to wear Jeans.
(Remember Brad Pitt in Thelma and Louise)?
Unfortunately, after getting a pair that fit and look just right,
they start to fade and deteriorate.
But luckily, there's a simple solution to preserve your jeans
and make them last and last.
The Simple Solution:
When you buy a new pair of jeans, don't wear them,
instead put them in a big sink or basin, throw in 1/4
cup of salt along with the same amount detergent and
cover them with cool water and leave them in overnight.
The next day, follow with a short wash cycle using cold water
and a gentle detergent, then take them out and let them air-dry.
The salt locks in the blue or black dye, making them fade proof.
Good Luck!
