Award Show Makeup Tips!

                 Apply Makeup Like A Pro!

There seems to be an award show every week this time of year.

If you're a fan of the "Golden Globes" or "The Oscars" then you
must be happy right about now. Happy seeing the gowns,
the hairstyles and the perfectly made up stars.

If you love makeup and want to know some secrets on how
you too can do your makeup to look like your favorite stars,
you're in luck. Look below, and learn some insider secrets
from a top Hollywood stylist.
a) Flawless Skin-
Apply your foundation in downward strokes.
Always apply foundation in downward strokes at a
45 degree angle. Why? The downward motion puts less on
your skin than upward strokes. Doing this helps you achieve
a more natural finish because you're gliding the makeup over
your pores instead of pushing the foundation into them.
Another tip: Applying moisturizer? That's when you want to
use upward strokes to push the cream into your skin.
b) Amazing Looking Eyes-
Raise your brows and tilt your head back.

Don't you hate when your eye shadow creases?
Having trouble making a straight eyeliner line?
If you gently raise your eyebrows and slightly tilt
your head back, the skin on your lids smooths out.
Sweeping shadow over that flat surface keeps
color from creasing, and it's easier to draw a straight line.

Another tip: Keep your head tilted back when you apply
mascara, why? With your head back, you can place the wand
closer to the lash roots for a thicker look.
c) No More Undereye Circles-
Look down to apply some concealer.
When you look straight into a mirror, you only see
the dark area directly under your eyes. But the darkness
actually extends up toward your nose and out toward
your temples. And by slightly tilting your head down, you'll

see--and conceal---all the dark spots under your eyes.

That's it- 3 tips to help you apply makeup like a pro.

Hollywood's Rx For Making Makeup Last!

                              Hold On To Your Makeup!

You probably invest a lot in makeup and the last thing you want is
to have to throw it out.
Well, according to a top Hollywood stylist- the way you store it (makeup)
determines whether or not it'll last.

To keep your makeup from spoiling- store it in your dresser drawer.

That's right- in the dresser drawer and not in the bathroom.
The bathroom where you run the hot water for a shower or a bath
can make the bathroom hot and humid.
And that heat and humidity can cause cosmetics to melt.

So, to save your makeup and save a few dollars. store your makeup
in the dresser drawer.

Food Rxs For Looking Your Best!

                                    Save Money On Cosmetics!

Do you wish that you could afford the best makeup and haircare
products like a lot of your favorite stars?
Well, buying expensive shampoos, eye makeup remover

and body scrubs doesn't necessarily mean you'll look better.

That's right- in fact, you can look your absolute best by going
to the your pantry or kitchen cupboards.
Listed below are some food alternatives that work
as effectively as the expensive products that are out there today.
1) Eye Makeup Remover-
Do you love Italian food? Next time you make Italian food,

save some of that olive oil and use it to remove eye makeup.
Apply some to a cotton ball and gently remove your eye makeup.
2) Clarifying Shampoo-
Don't spend a fortune for shampoo that claims to get the dirt and grime
out of your hair. Instead, just use some vinegar, white or apple cider

vinegar. After shampooing, apply some vinegar to your hair,
massage it in and then rinse it out.

That's it- 2 money making tips to help you look your best this new year.
