A Beauty Rx For The Upcoming Award Season!

                              It's All In The Hands!

Quick question? What part of the body starts to show signs of aging first?

If you said hair, (graying) or the eyes, (wrinkles) you're wrong.
It's the hands and neck.
Why is that?
Thinner skin and fewer oil glands to keep them moisturized.

And if you're a fan of all of the award shows, then you better get ready.

We don't mean ready as in attending, we mean getting ready to watch.
And if you're really a fan, then you also know that some award shows have thrown
a new feature into some of these shows.
What type of feature?
A machine that looks at hands.

Yes, at some shows last year the hosts asked some actresses (hey-no actors)
if they'd be willing to place their hand in or under some type of machine.
What was the point of doing this?
We're not sure, to look at their manicures or to look at the ages of their hands,
well , some actresses willingly obliged, (the younger ones)
and some said a big fat, No Thank-You! (some older actresses).
And if you want to avoid someone asking to look at your hands or if you just want to
keep them looking their youthful best, use the following hand mask.
A mask for your hands?

Yes, you do it for your face, why not your hands?

Here's the anti-aging hand mask, called...
The Mango-Hand Mask!
Ingredients:
In a blender or small food processor,
add some ripe mango, 1/4 cup, a tsp. honey and some almond or olive oil.

Blend for a few seconds and apply it to the back of your hands and nails. 1 Tbs.
Sit back,  and relax for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse off with warm water.

And if you're wondering, why mango?
It (mango) is loaded with vitamins A and C, nutrients that promote
younger looking skin. Plus, the fruit has fatty acids that leave hands soft, silky
smooth and moisturized.
And if you want a mask that's already prepared- head online to the
TheBodyShop-usa.com. and order the
Body Shop Mango Hand Cream. $8.00 for one tube.

And one last tip--
If you also want some tips on how to keep your neck looking as youthful as
the rest of your body, head online to Amazon.com and type--see title to
the right.. Download it and learn the breakfast food (whether it's

eaten or worn as a mask) that'll keep your hands and neck looking like a young man or woman still in college.

Good Luck!

Beauty Solution For The Hand Cam!

Turn Back The Clock On Your Hands!

If you're truly a fan of award shows, then you may know all about the "Hand Cam"

what is it? It's a camera set up so stars can show off their bling on social
media sites.
It's a little different than the usual non-stop chatter we get about
"what the stars are wearing."

And now that some red carpets have this feature, some stars don't want any part of

it. Why you ask?
Unlike the face, the hands age more quickly and a few stars still want you to think

they're forever 25.
One of those stars: Jennifer Aniston!

That's right, on a recent award show, Ms. Aniston was asked by interviewer
Maria Menonous if she would show her hands to the camera and Ms.
Aniston said NO. Not a little no, but a big emphatic No.

Now, you may know that her costar Courtney Cox has had issues with
her hands, so much so, she even asked Ellen D. for advice on what to do,
but Jennifer Aniston, we thought she'd never age.

Well, if  your hands are starting to look older than the rest of you
and you want to do something other than surgery (fat injections)
try out a new moisturizer.
The new moisturizer:
Crabtree & Evelyn Citron, Honey and Coriander
Ultra-Moisturizing Hand Therapy, price- $8.00
find it online at-Crabtree-Evelyn.com.
The moisturizer contains the herb Coriander and it (the herb)
thickens the skin by boosting collagen production.

That's it, and don't forget this Sunday is the Oscars.
Let's see if the "hand cam" is present on this red carpet.

Good Luck!
