Hollywood's New Use For A White-T-Shirt!

Use That White T For Your Hair!

The lowly white T-shirt may not seem that cool or glamorous in Hollywood,

but to some stars it is.
A number of stars (see Gwen Stefani) wear them to do chores, to run errands,
exercise and as a hair care product.
A hair care product?

Yes, according to a top stylist, a plain white T can help with one

of life's biggest hair dilemmas.
And what dilemma is that?

Preventing flyaway and frizzy hair.
That's right, the stylist says the next time you wash your hair,

gently squeeze out the excess water, then wrap your head in a clean, plain
white cotton T-shirt and not a towel.

Why?
The tiny grooves in a towel can rough up your hair cuticles,

and this can result in flyaways and frizziness.

As for a T-shirt- it  contains soft and thin fibers that dry out your

hair without damaging the hair cuticles.
Plus, a T-shirt doesn't absorb as much water as a towel, so
it leaves hair more manageable for styling.

That's it, a plain white T for kicking back on the weekends or
for frizzy-free hair.

Good Luck!

Sex and The City's Rx To Control Frizzy Hair!

                                                   Humidity and Frizzies!
Does your hair take on the look of a scary witch in the Summer months?
Blame it on the humid temperatures and the unbearable heat.
Humidity causes the cuticle (the outer layer of the hair strand, which is made
of shingle-like scales) to open unevenly, resulting in an untamed and
unmanageable head of hair.

And if you think it only happens to you, you're wrong, it also happens
to one star from the hit series-"Sex and The City" can you guess which
star it is? If you said Sarah Jessica Parker-give yourself a hand.
Ms. Parker already has curly hair that's hard to manage, but
come Summertime it really gets out-of-control.

So, to get your mane under control and stop the frizzies- do the following...

Dampen your hands with cold water and run them over your hair, (the cold water
closes the shingles), then apply a pea-sized amount of glycerin-based pomade
from ends to roots. The glycerin "glues" down the outside of the cuticle for silky,
frizzy-free hair.

Not sure where to get glycerin-based pomades?
Look for a brand called Redken Water Wax 03 Shine Defining Pomade,
find it at Ulta stores,  price-$19 for a 1.7 oz bottle.

Good Luck!
