Housewives' Rx For A Great Summer!

                      Prevent Lyme Disease!

Are you a fan of The Housewives Franchise?
You know, the housewives of Atlanta, Orange County or Beverly Hills?
Well, even if you never watched one episode of any of the shows, you must
take a lesson from one of the wives.

That lesson: Be careful when playing with your pets or while
exercising or entertaining outside.
You see, cast member Carlton, (of the Beverly Hills Housewives)
announced that she has a serious case of Lyme disease.
So serious in fact, she's now selling her beautiful home in Beverly Hills to
reduce her stress levels and really fight this disease head on.

You can check your skin every time you play or walk outdoors and
you can run a fine-tooth comb through your pets and still not catch it.
Deer ticks which carry the virus are about 1/2 the size of a lentil pea and
at that size it's almost impossible to detect.
Well, short of giving up on life and living indoors for the rest of your life,

there are some things you can do to minimize your chances of ever getting
Lyme disease and those things are...
a) Dryer Sheets-
That's right- the things you add to clothes to make them smell more

pleasant, may be a natural remedy to fight deer ticks. Wrap them
(fresh ones) around your ankles and belt loops when hiking or barbecuing.
Also add a few to the areas of your yard you'll be entertaining and/or eating.
It's reported, ticks can't stand the scent. It's also rumored mice
hate the scent as well.
b) Garlic-
Is there anything this food can't do? You may hate the smell of your
breath afterwards, but put those fears aside, eating one or two cloves
a day, lower your risk of ever getting lyme disease by 25%.
Garlic gives off a unique odor that drives ticks crazy.
c) Garlic Spray-
Not sure of how to make it, but taking a few fresh cloves along with
some dish or laundry detergent and then adding some water, makes for
a very effective "all-natural" bug repellent. Pour into a spray bottle
and spray it around the outside of your home.
To find the amounts and the ingredients, go to Google.com and
type in how to make natural bug repellents.

Here's to a great Spring and Summer season.
And let's all pray for Carlton to get through this most difficult time
with her health and well-being intact.

Good Luck!

Rachael Ray- the extremely popular cooking show host loves
to cook with herbs and spices, and that's a great thing, Why?
Not only is it beneficial for your health, it's cheaper than buying a
lot of fruits and vegetables.

a way to save relationships and make children behave better,
