A Stylist's Rx About Dye Jobs!

                                Fun Facts About Hair Color!

Are you a natural blonde? Or do you dye your hair blonde?
Well, a stylist has compiled some fun facts about hair color,

and if you look below, you'll find some of those facts.
a) More Than 50%-
That's the number of American women over 17 yrs.
of age who dye their hair.
b) Marilyn Monroe-
One of the most famous blondes, was actually a brunette.
c) Modern Family-
Sofia Vergara, the Spanish spitfire on Modern Family is
actually a blonde. And what's even more shocking,
casting directors didn't believe a woman from Columbia
was really blonde and Spanish. But, she convinced them she was
and decided to dye her hair a darker color to get more roles,
roles that would match her accent.
d) Ginger Alert-
Do you know the actual number of red heads?

Well, only 3 %, of the population has naturally red hair.
e) The Birthday Boy-
Today is the King's birthday, the King- Elvis Presley.
Mr. Presley was blonde like Sofia Vergara and dyed his
hair because he was told it matched well with his skin tone,

and he idolized Marlon Brando, James Dean and Rock Hudson,
all dark-haired guys. Another fact about Elvis- he also
starting going grey early, (probably due to poor diet) and
really had to keep it dark after that happened.
f) The Most Common Hair Colors-
What are the 3 most hair colors for women?
Dark Brown- 38%
Light brown- 23%
Dark Blonde-14%

That's it- some fun and interesting facts about hair color.

Good Luck!

Hollywood's Rx For Coloring Your Hair!

                   Hair Coloring Tip!

Hollywood stars and starlets that make ginormous salaries
can have the best hair care procedures done to their precious locks.
You know, conditioning, shampooing, trimming and coloring.
But what are about the rest of the "regular" women out there?

Well, if you're in the "regular" category and can only afford to
color your hair at home, do this trick to prevent staining.
The trick: When coloring your hair at home, put Vaseline
(yes Vaseline) around your hairline before you start the coloring.
The petroleum jelly creates a barrier between your skin and the hair
dye to prevent skin staining.

Another benefit of Vaseline: It keeps skin smooth, it's a great moisturizer.
