Hollywood's Rx For A Low-Cost Wedding!

                                    Spend Less On Your Wedding!

Actor Matt Damon says that he wants to have another wedding.
He wants the fancy gown, the Tux, the opulent settings,
fine dining and dancing into the night.
Mr. Damon was married 8 yrs. ago, at the courthouse in N.Y.
with a few friends, family and the mayor of N.Y.
And this time he wants to
give the woman he loves a "real" wedding.

If you're getting hitched like Mr. Damon, in the next few months
or year, but can't spend like him, that's okay-look

below and use the tips to have the wedding of your dreams without
declaring bankruptcy.
a) Watch The Clock-
Simply put...if you're planning on a Saturday wedding, make it Saturday
afternoon, and not Saturday evening. Why? It's less expensive in the afternoon.

And can you guess which day is more expensive? If you said Sunday, give yourself
a pat on the back. Sundays are church days and the minister or pastor is usually
busy and you'll be charged more.
b) Go Online-
Invitations cost a lot, so go online and order them from an online distributor
like...BudgetWeddingInvitations.com or WeddingPaperDivas.com.
c) Low-Cost Linens-
Linens like invitations can cost you, and also like invitations you can rent linens
online, from LaTavolaLinens.com or LinenNStuff.com.
d) Low-Cost Musical Talent-
A band can take a lot out of your budget, and if you don't have money like
Matt Damon-think about hiring students from a local music conservatory
or the local college. One more tip: make sure you listen to them first.
e) Cutting Cake Costs-
Buying a cake is almost as important as the gown to some people,
and if you're not able to buy a cake from the "Cake Boss"
then ask for the cheaper frosting. What frosting is that?
It's Buttercream and not the fondant. A cake made with buttercream
frosting can save you about $4 a slice and if you have 70 guests,
you'll save-$280 on the cake alone.

That's it- Some helpful tips for you and your loved one to have
the wedding of your dreams.
And one thing: If you're a guy and need help buying an engagement
ring, look at our post...Beyonce's Rxs For Guys Who Want To Put A Ring
On It.

Good Luck!

Honey Boo Boo's Rxs To Boost Female Health!

                                      Health Tips From June!

If you're a fan of the TLC show- "Honey Boo Boo-then you know
you can learn a thing or two. June aka Mama Bear-is also one to dispense
advice on everything from raising animals to eating certain foods to help

prevent or alleviate illnesses.

Her latest pearl of wisdom: Cranberry Sauce to end UTIs.
UTIs are urinary tract infections, and Mama June was right in one respect,

cranberries have been used for ages to help alleviate the pain and discomfort
of UTIs, but she was wrong to put sugar on a food that was already sweet.
Sugar will prolong the problem of UTIs, making them even harder for them
to go away.

So, if you or a loved one is suffering from UTI's, try sugar-free cranberry juice

or take a cranberry concentrate in capsules. Or combine cranberry juice
with blueberry juice (unsweetened) for a more effective cure.
That's it- and remember, Mama June, Sugar Bear and Honey Boo Boo
may seem like country bumpkins, but they can teach us all something with
their down home wisdom. So please, don't dismiss them so easily.

Good Luck!

Say Yes To The Dress Rx For Your Wedding Dress!

                                   Preserving Your Wedding Dress!

The T.V. show "Say Yes To The Dress" is a popular show on
the TLC network. It helps brides-to-be pick out the perfect
wedding dress.

If you already have a wedding dress and would like it to last
for 5, 10 or even 50 yrs. do not just let it hang in your closet.
That's right- hanging it up for yrs. won't help preserve it and it may
even put your health in danger. How? Leaving it in the closet
and then leaving a window open, day after day,  the dress will only
collect dust and pollen. And if you or a family member suffers
from allergies or sinus problems, the dress will only make them worst.

So, if you want to keep that dress for your daughter or granddaughter,
do the following...
Lay the dress down, place some acid-free paper over it and fold it in thirds.
And then you may want to crumple some tissue paper in the shoulders and sleeves
of the dress to keep the shape. And finally, wrap it in a clean sheet and store it in
a drawer, a trunk, a shelf  or in a cabinet that has a door.

That's it- your tip for helping that wedding dress last for years and years.

Good Luck!
