Make Money Like A Star!
Is the "bad" economy still making it hard for you to make a living?
Are you trying your luck on Youtube or writing books for
Amazon.com, to no avail.
Well, why not try the one of the fastest growing opportunities
in the U.S. what is it?
A Personal Shopper.
With the number of working dads and moms out there, someone
has to do the shopping, and that someone can be you.
And whether you live in Hollywood Ca. or Perth Amboy N.J.
someone can always use someone to help them shop.
And before you try your hand at shopping for someone,
look over the list (below), take in all of the information
and really get a jump start on a whole new way to make money.
a) Find Your Niche-
A niche is a special area of interest, for instance--maybe you only
want to shop for kids, or food shop or shop for cosmetics.
It's up to you.
b) Get The Word Out-
Say your at the mall, and someone compliments you on how you
look, ask her-" do you need someone to help you shop?"
Tell her, "I just started working as a personal shopper, and
I'm looking for clients."
Spreading the word this way or through a blog, will help bring in
the money.
c) Invest Time and Energy in Your Clients-
Simply put, study the people you're shopping for.
If a client wants you to buy Christmas, birthday, or graduation
gifts, make sure you learn something about the person your buying
for. Does Grandma only eat organic foods? Is their son into vintage
video games? Learn something about that person and you'll really
develop a following and hopefully, more clients.
d) Become a Repeat Customer-
This means, if you shop at a boutique, tell the owner about
yourself, it may help you get better deals, bargains and discounts.
And if you go to that one particular store on a regular basis,
ask if you can take items on approval, so you can present
them to your client without having to pay for them up front.
e) Get a License-
A wholesaler's license. This allows you to buy items like
home goods, supplements (vitamins) and furniture at
wholesale prices. You can also use your license at trade
shows or factory showrooms. To find out more about
obtaining a license, visit your state revenue department's
website, type in 'reseller' and find out what to do.
That's it- Another tip to help you make it in these tough,
economic times.
Good Luck!
