Avoid Cancer Eating This!
If you've been watching the news this past week, then you're well aware that
actress Angelina Jolie had her ovaries removed.
Ms. Jolie had her breasts removed (a double mastectomy) a while back
hoping to avoid the same fate that took both her mom and aunt.
And if you're not like Ms. Jolie and don't have a family history
and want to keep your odds of ever getting either cancer (breast or ovarian)
perhaps you should do like the people of Greece, Italy, Denmark
and Spain do, what is it?
Eat more Olive oil.
Olive oil?
Yes, Olive oil contains powerful compounds that help shut down the
growth of abnormal cells (including breast and ovarian) before they can turn
cancerous.
The type of oil that's considered the best: Extra-Virgin Olive Oil.
And another tip:
Oat bran (cook it like you would oatmeal) is showing great promise
as a way to reduce Endometrial cancer. Oat bran binds to to uterus-damaging
carcinogens in the digestive tract, blocking their absorption.
Now, that you know about the benefits of olive oil, look below and
make the following dish and really lower your risks of certain female cancers,
fibroids and migraines.
The Recipe:
Baked Eggs and Spinach!
Ingredients:
2 Tbs. extra-virgin olive oil, divide it
1 box of frozen spinach, defrosted and squeezed dry
4 eggs
1/4 cup chunky salsa
1/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
or Mozzarella
Salt and pepper
-------------------------------------------
Directions:
Preheat over to 325 degrees. Coat 4 ramekins or (custard cups)
with some of the olive oil or Pam spray. Divide spinach
evenly among the ramekins. Drizzle with the rest of the oil. Using the
back of a spoon, press an indentation (about 2" in diameter) into the center
of the spinach. Place ramekins on a baking sheet.
Now, carefully break one egg into each indentation. Top evenly
with salsa, and the cheese. bake until whites are set and yolks
begin to thicken but are not hard, 20 to 25 mins.Add some salt and pepper to taste.
Serves 4.
That's it, a recipe to help lower your odds of getting certain female
cancers.
And if you want to know about some other foods that'll help lower
your odds of getting breast, cervical and ovarian cancer,
go online to Amazon.com/the kindle store and type Superfoods
That'll Help You Prevent Breast Cancer in the search bar.
Download it and take it and with you to the grocery store.
And one last tip:
If you do add more olive oil to your daily menus, make sure to
avoid (or really limit) fattening foods, white carbs, high fructose
foods, dairy, meats, sweets and sugary drinks.
Good Luck!
