American Music Awards Thanksgiving Rx For Future Moms!

                                   Eat This For Twins!

Did you see the "American Music Awards?" The highlights of the night--
Seeing the incredible 70 yr. old Diana Ross give Taylor Swift an award.
Seeing the energetic Pit Bull host and perform and of course, seeing
the ageless J Lo perform the hit song "Booty" with Iggy Azalea.
And speaking of J Lo, she's the mom of twins.
Some other famous parents of twins: Mariah Carey, Angelina Jolie
and Marcia Cross.

Not unusual, but all of them were over 30 yrs. of age.

And what's so unusual about that?
Being over 30 raises your odds of having twins or triplets.
That's not a misprint, and researchers think hormones are responsible.
Older women have more hormones that result in women older than 30 having twins or
triplets.
And what if you're 20 or 25, or even 29 is there any thing you can do to have
twins?
Yes, there might be a few things (food-wise) , and one of the foods may be

present at your table this Thanksgiving.
What food is that?
Yams. Not sweet potatoes, but Yams.

According to food researchers, there's a part of Nigeria where a lot of the
women were giving births to multiples, and when the researchers went there
and studied their lifestyles- diets, exercises, sleep habits, etc. they
finally determined it was the yams.
Thanks to the warm climates, the people grow, sell and eat a lot of yams,
and the researchers then spent the next year studying the yam and it's
effectiveness on multiple births.
Their findings:
Yams balance hormones. Yams contain phytonutrients that work just like

hormone replacement therapy. And if you're one who wants to have
your ideal family of two kids in one shot, perhaps adding more yams to your
diet may work for you.

And for those who are past the childbearing stage and are now dealing with

hot flashes, night sweats, and tiredness, yams can also help you.
Hormone disrupters like obesity, cancer and bone thinning wreak havoc
on hormones and yams can help raise the number of protective hormones

in your system.

So, if you're a young women under 30 or an older woman over 50,
yams can help you.
And if you want more tips (food tips) on how to increase your odds of
having twins (or triplets) head to Scribd.com and type
Fertility Secrets Doctors Don't Want You To Know, in the search bar.
Download it and read the section on having twins.

And 2 last things...
Make sure if do serve yams, serve them in ways that are beneficial to your health
and well-being...meaning without loads of sugar.
Lots of sugar is another enemy of a healthy birth.
And being over 30 also raises your odds of having babies with serious health
issues. (like Down Syndrome, Autism, etc)

Good Luck!

Angelina Jolie's Rx For Beautiful Skin!

                                  Preventing Stretch Marks Like Angelina!

Whether the story is true or false, it's still a great story,

what is it? Actress Angelina Jolie used caviar to prevent stretch marks.

Caviar, although high in vitamins and minerals, isn't mentioned as
a way to prevent stretch marks.
And one more thing: It's said that Ms. Jolie didn't eat the caviar,
she applied the stuff to her belly, the creases of her arms,
and the creases of her shoulders.
As we said earlier, we're not sure if
this story is true, or just the imaginative thoughts
of some creative
tabloid writers.

We'll do some more digging to find out and we'll report back to you.

And for those who may be pregnant, and want to prevent stretch
marks- the go to and most popular Rx is Shea Coco Butter, available
at drugstores and at Amazon.com.

If you're a mom, or you know someone who's given birth,

let us know what worked or didn't work for you, concerning stretch marks.
Thank-You!
Good Luck!

Deperate Housewive's Fertility Rx!

                   Giving Birth Like A Star!
Marcia Cross, the quiet redhead of the hit ABC show "Desperate Housewives"
gave birth to twins after the age of 40.

What's so unique about that?
Well, she was over 40 and the twins were born healthy.

If you and your spouse or boyfriend would like to have twins or triplets
without medical assistance-your chances are greater if you're over 30.

That's right- for some unkonwn reason, women over 30 have a greater
chance of having twins, as opposed to someone under 30.
Some other celebrities-who've done it:
Mariah Carey-40
Jennifer Lopez- 39.
Angelina Jolie- 32.
Rebecca Romjin-O'Connell- 31.

But, what if you want twins without help from a medical specialist
and you're under 30?
Well, believe it or not, there are some foods that can help. Foods like...
1) Dairy- Yes, the food a lot of women avoid in hopes of maintaining weight,
may help you with multiple births. But there's a catch- the catch...it has to be regular diary,
not fat-free dairy. Why? Full fat dairy contains growth hormones and low and non-fat
dairy doesn't. These hormones not only increase your chances for twins, but can
help those who may be infertile. That's right- before you invest thousands on
fertility treatments, try dairy-full fat.
And one more thing: stop the dairy (or have it occasionally) once you're pregnant,
or extra weight will be another problem.
2) Blackberries- Blueberries get all of the attention, but for some reason, blackberries
help women give birth to twins or triplets.
One more tip: make sure the blackberries are organic, or wash them very carefully.
3) Yams- There's a part of Nigeria where a number of women had
twins and triplets. It confounded a number of people,  until a researcher
figured it out. His finding: It was the yams. Thanks to the dry and sunny conditions,
the people grew and ate a lot of Yams.  If you like yams then you're in luck,
but make sure you don't add a ton of sugar and other foods that may impede
multiple births. And if you're wondering about sweet potatoes-I'm not sure,
the women from Nigeria only eat yams.

That's it- 3 foods and being over 30, can help you deliver twins or triplets.

And one more thing: being over 30 can also increase risks for your future
kids to be born with major birth defects.

Good Luck!
