Hollywood's Brunch Rx For Weight Control!

                      Drink Up To Lose More Weight!

Today is Mother's day, and if you're a mom in Hollywood Cal. or
Davenport Iowa, brunch may be one of the gifts you receive.
And if you are so fortunate and being treated to brunch, make sure
you have the drink that's synonymous with Brunch.
What drink is that?
A Bloody Mary!

A Bloody Mary?
Yes, and if you're struggling with weight, you may want to have them
(B.M's) on a regular basis.

Why?
Thanks to new research, tomato juice (specifically) can help you increase
fat burning by up to 30% and that's not all-- there's more, in addition to fat burning,

drinking 1 or 2 glasses of tomato juice a day, can also...
* Decrease the fat belly hormones. Tomato juice helps prevent the sudden
dips in blood sugar that cause intense cravings and out-of-control hunger.
* Thyroid Health-
Boost metabolism-revving thyroid hormones by drinking a glass (or 2) of
tomato juice.
* Shut Down Cravings-
Women who had a glass of tomato juice prior to a meal, said T.J. worked like
an apple or a glass of water or a bowl of soup, (broth-based) in that it
really filled them up and helped them eat a lot less, a whole lot less.
* Natural Sunscreen-

Concerned about using all of that sunscreen lotion?
Use T.J. instead, it contains lycopene, the pigment that makes
tomatoes red, and this type of pigment is so powerful, it acts exactly like

Sunscreen.
* Lower Stroke Risk--

Who's the fastest growing population for stroke risk?
Women between 29 and 45. And if you live in a big city (with pollution
from vans, buses, taxis, and trucks) your risk really goes up.

Lower your odds by drinking more tomato juice and bloody Marys.
* Build Stronger Bones-

Don't let thinning bones rob you of a great future, keep them
strong by juicing more T.J. Tomatoes and a small amount of alcohol
really keep bones strong.

* Lower Bad Cholesterol-
Antioxidants in T.J. help lower cholesterol by 15%.
* Live Longer-
An Indian doctor says you can increase longevity by about
3 to 5 yrs. by drinking and eating tomato products.
Cooked tomatoes work better than fresh tomatoes.

That's it for today, special healing tips for all moms
who want to live longer, control their weight, prevent skin cancer

and keep bones strong.

And if you need a recipe for a Bloody Mary,
head to Google.com and type recipe for a Bloody Mary
in the search bar. Make sure to add a little cayenne
to your at home version. Why? Cayenne pepper also has
a host of health benefits... boost heart health, appetite suppressant
and an immunity booster.

And one last tip- If you want more info on the red (and other) foods that

work as natural sunscreens, head on over to Amazon.com/the kindle store and type Supermarket Rxs That Sun-Proof Your Skin in the
search bar. See title to the right.

Good Luck!

Reality Star's Rx For New Year's Eve Cocktails!

                               Go Wheat-Free For The New Year!

You may be familiar with reality star Bethenny Frankel's business
venture called "Skinny Girl" cocktails.
Well, someone out there decided that since some alcohol contains
wheat, it's time for cocktails (like our meals) to go wheat-free.
And if you're already wheat-free or plan on going wheat-free in the
new year, here are 3 drinks that are "wheat-free".

Drink no. 1-
A Lemon-Thyme Sparkler!
Use champagne to make this drink, and since champagne is wheat-free,

you may want to make this to ring in the new year.
To make-
In a pot, heat 1/2 cup xylitol, 1/2 cup water and 5 sprigs of thyme.
Let the xylitol  dissolve, remove the thyme and let cool.
And to finish this special cocktail- combine 4 oz. champagne,
1 Tbs. lemon juice (fresh lemon juice) and a tsp. of the thyme syrup
in a cocktail glass, stir well and add a slice of lemon (for garnish).
Look for xylitol at health-food stores.

Drink no. 2-
A Blood Orange Margarita-
This is a tangy, wheat-free drink.

To make--
Combine fresh blood orange juice- 6 oz. along with 4 oz. tequila. 2 oz. of triple sec,

some stevia (to taste) and the juice of 1 fresh lime. Stir well.
Serve over ice, enough for 4 servings.
Find blood oranges at larger supermarkets.

And lastly, to help you get to sleep, try this cocktail.
Drink no. 3-
An Orange Spiced Mulled Wine-
Great as a sleep aid or really cold nights.
To make-
In a small pot over low heat, combine 1 btl. of Cabernet Sauvignon, (750 mil)
6 cloves, 1 cinnamon stick, the zest and juice of 1 orange and xylitol, 1/4 cup.
Make sure to clean peel thoroughly as it may contain pesticides.
Simmer for 30 minutes, strain and pour into 6 glasses. Drink while warm.

That's it- 3 cocktails that are great tasting and wheat-free.

Good Luck!

By using the whole pine (or Christmas) tree to improve your health.
That's right, head to Amazon.com/the kindle store and download...see title to the
right.
Learn how the needles, the pine cones, the nuts, (pine nuts)
the bark and the scent of a pine tree (or wreath) can
improve heart health, conquer those cravings, overcome
jet lag, cure indoor allergies, lower stress levels
and alleviate the effects of a cold.
