Hollywood's Leading Ladies Rx For Pregnancy!

                                   Pregnancy Over 40!

There's an interesting story on MSN.com, what is it?
There are over 25 stars who've given birth after the age of 40.
Pick a top star right now, and it's highly likely she's had a baby or two.

Stars like...Halle Berry, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Molly Ringwald,
Salma Hayek, Tina Fey, Gwen Stefani, Brooke Shields, Marsha Cross,
Kim  Basinger, Kelly Preston and Helen Hnnt.

Women have been warned for decades about giving birth after age 35,
(undersized babies,  premature deliveries, Down's syndrome, etc)
but these women (stars) weren't listening.
The article just tells you the stars, not how they were able to deliver such healthy babies.
Some say they (the stars) have access to top doctors, follow nutrient-dense  diets,
don't smoke, meditate and exercise regularly.
A fun fact: It's rumored that actress Gina Davis who was in her mid 40's
when she became pregnant, trained both her body and mind (like an Olympic athlete)
to deliver a healthy babyand you may be able to find that information. How?
Go to Google.com. and
type Gina Davis Rxs For Giving Birth Later In Life.
There may be some helpful
info there.

So, if you're nearing your middle 30's or early 40's and want to have another child
or your first child, just look at the above list for inspiration.
And one last bit of news: Women over 35 are also more likely to give birth
to twins. See Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Angelica Jolie, and Marsha Cross.

odds for twins, easing morning sickness, etc. Head online to Scribd.com/

The View's Rx For Future Moms!

                            Blood Types and Biological Clocks!

If you caught Friday's edition of the T.V. show "The View"
then you're well aware the subject of biological clocks came up.
Sports analyst and new host of "Dancing With The Stars"
was a guest host and her biological clock was the one the women
were talking about.

Who was the woman?
Erin Andrews. Ms. Andrews, at age 35, told the women that she's
been dating a professional hockey player, but doesn't know if
the yr. long romance will lead to marriage, but she's hoping,
mainly because she wants to have kids before it's too late.
If you're in the same position as Ms. Andrews, you may want to ask your
Dr. about a test that'll tell you if you have enough healthy eggs
to conceive.

That's right- the type of blood you have can help medical professionals
determine if you'll have enough eggs, especially if you plan on waiting
to have kids.
The blood types:

If you have type O blood, you'll run out of eggs earlier.
And if you have type AB blood or type A blood, you can wait a little longer.
So, if having a baby is of major importance, then you may want to
ask your Dr. about a blood test that measures your anti-mullerian
hormones, (AMH).
This test will give you an estimate of your remaining egg supply.

That's it- and if you are older or plan on having kids a little
later, some women are having success at conceiving at later
ages with a good, detox diet.

One woman followed the diet tips from a Canadian woman
by the name of Tosca Reno, not to get pregnant, but to clean up her
diet and improve her health. Well, the results were beyond anything
she expected. The woman started experiencing stomach pains
and was convinced the new diet was the culprit, she went to have
the growling and rumblings checked out and the Dr. said--
"You're pregnant!"
The woman's age- 51 and her husband--age 53.
She had kids in their 20's,  and now at age 51, she
was expecting again.

Hey, a good diet can help you look younger, avoid
heart problems, diabetes, cancers and strokes,
so why can't it help you conceive at a later age?

The Doctor's Rxs For Future Moms!

Eat This, Not That For Multiple Births!

Any fans of the show "The Doctors" out there?
Well, today's show was all about twins, triplets and quadruplets,

multiple births.
During one of the segments, the doctors asked a multiple
choice question as to the best way for moms to have a set of twins
or triplets.

Of all of the choices-the answer was IVF (in-vitro-fetilization).
That may true, but did you also know there's something out there
that may be considered safer and way less expensive, what is it?
Food and being a certain age.

That's right, as usual, when there's a medical problem
that needs to be addressed, leave it up to the medical professionals
to offer something costly and potentially dangerous, but also know that
there may be an alternative as well, and it might be right in your
supermarket.
We'll list the foods that some say may help you get those twins or triplets
you want, the natural way.
1) Dairy.
2) Blackberries
3) English Rx known as black tea
4) Yams
5) Your Age-
Although this isn't a food, researchers say that being over 30,
may actually increase your chances of giving birth to twins or triplets,
Need Proof? Marcia Cross (Desperate Housewives) age 40 something,
J Lo- age 37, and Angelina Jolie, early thirties.

That's it- and if you need more in-depth info on dairy, the types of yams
and the blackberries, head to our main blog- SupermarketRxs@typepad.com
or look for an old E-document we wrote on multiple births, preventing miscarriages
and curing male and female infertility with food, find this E-Doc at Scribd.com
