Homeland's Rx For Tired Feet!

Chocolate Sugar Scrub For Your Feet!

If you're into pop culture, then you may know all about the
rabid fans of actress Claire Danes.
No- these aren't fans of her acting or her good looks, these
fans are obsessed with her feet.
That's right- ever since the movie "Boomerang" (with Eddie
Murphy and Halle Berry) came out, men have revealed that their
desire for beautiful feet are just as important to them as a nice pair
of legs or a big bust.

And if you have feet that'll give Claire Danes a run for her money,
and you want to keep them that way, try this at-home (inexpensive)
pedicure.
The Ingredients:
3 tbsps. sugar (white or brown)

2 drops almond oil
1 tsp. cocoa powder
2 tsps. honey
4 drops choc. extract (find it in the baking aisle)
or use Vanilla extract.

Directions:
place all the ingredients in a large bowl.
Mix well with a spoon or your hands.

Sit on the edge of the tub, put a little water on
your feet (not too much) and then massage the
cocoa scrub on the bottom and tops of your feet.
Be sure to really scrub the rough spots
like the heels. And  finish up by running
warm water over your feet, pat dry, apply some of your
favorite moisturizer and put on a nice pair of socks.

That's it- a simple do-it-yourself pedicure to help
get your feet ready for the Springtime.

Good Luck!

Homeland's Rx For Sandal Season!

                                        Homemade Spa Treatment!

Claire Danes, the talented star of the Showtime series "Homeland"
gets a lot of attention on a specific body part, or shall we say 2 body parts.

What are they?
No, not that body part, it's her feet.

And with the Spring season finally here, a lot of women
will also be concerned about the look of their feet.
If you're not able to get your usual pedicure done due to

the economy, you can do-it-yourself.
That's right- and before getting started, save even more money
and make your own "Pedicure Scrub" How?
Look below and learn.

First, figure out the type of feet you have and then make
a scrub according to your foot type.
a) Sensitive Skin-
These types of feet don't need a heavy scrub, so it's best to use
baking soda. Baking soda mixed with a little warm water is best.
b) Normal Skin-
You can use a scrub that's a little more abrasive.
Go with some sugar (white or brown) and some olive or canola
oil. The sugar removes the rough patches and the olive or canola

oil moisturizes the skin.
c) Rough Skin-
You won't need sanding paper, just some sea salt and oil.
(Olive or canola). The salt and oil will really work on calloused
skin.

So, if you've been trying to save money, you can start here
and avoid paying for pricey scrubs.
And for those who want the perfect 10-step program (taken from a top Spa)
