The Met's Gala Food Rx For All Women!

The Met's Gala Menu Tip For Women!

You may remember that that the Met Gala was held this past Monday.

You know, the event that raises money for the Costume Institute, aka the Fashion
Institute.

It's also been called The Oscar show for Fashion or the East Coast Oscars.
And if you're also wondering -who gets to go, how much do they (stars)
pay to attend, or are they paid to attend, you can go to Google.com,

and type Met Gala in the search bar and get answers to all of these questions.

We at "Red Carpet Rxs" aren't interested in any of those things,
the thing we're most interested in is--"what they (stars) ate and how it (the food)
can benefit you.
And the answer to this question is lamb.

Lamb chops, asparagus and some type of apple dessert,
all for 30,000 dollars, (that's some very expensive lamb).

Lamb is quite popular in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern countries,
but in the U.S. it takes a back seat to beef and chicken, and that's too bad.
Why is that?
A good quality (grass-fed) lamb chop a few times a week can really bolster
your health, how so?

* A stronger immune system.
Women who go off all meat products in favor of fruits, vegetables,
and whole grains, may experience more colds, (and the colds will last longer as well).

Meat, especially lamb, provides you with ample amounts of zinc, and without
this important nutrient, the more colds you'll get.
* Less Belly Fat-
Lamb (and beef) contain conjugated linoleic acid, (CLA) a vital fatty acid, that helps
reduce body fat, (especially stubborn fat around the waist, stomach, hips, etc.)
* Thicker and Shinier Locks-

Ladies, are you tired of spending small fortunes on creams, pills, gels, shampoos,
and conditioners hoping to get the hair of your dreams?
Well, why not get all of those things from food, more specifically lamb.

Again, it's the zinc in lamb as well as the protein.
* Better Mental Health-
Yes, lamb and other types of meat provide you with the vital B vitamins,
and these are the vitamins that keep you motivated, focused and less depressed.
And one last thing, lamb also contains ample amounts of selenium,
a mineral that lowers your odds of getting certain cancers, and according to new
research, it (selenium) can also keep you from becoming antisocial, less shy and
even agoraphobic. (An anxiety disorder that leaves you fearing open spaces).
Important tip: Just make sure not have your lamb with rolls, mashed potatoes,
gravy, sweet drinks and desserts, not only will you be more depressed,

you'll also have to contend with more health issues- heart disease, fatty liver
and a bigger waistline.

So, if you were wondering what type of meal Beyonce, Kim K, Rhianna.  Nicki Minaj,
Demi Lovato, and George Clooney get for $30,000, wonder no more, now you know.

And if you need any more info on the benefits of lamb, (lamb chops) go to

Google.com and get more info there.
That's it!

Good Luck!

Kelly Clarkson's Food Rx For Better Health!

                               Eat Greek Like Kelly!
Did you see Kelly Clarkson at last night's Superbowl?
She performed the national anthem and did it superbly.
Unfortunately, all of the attention is going to Gisele Bundchen,
Madonna and M.I.A.
Hey- that's how the American media works.

Now back to the subject at hand...
Ms. Clarkson, Jennifer Aniston, Maria Menounous
and Melina Kanakaredes are all Greek.
What's so special about that?
Well, a food popular with Greeks is lamb. and eating it can benefit
your health.
How?
1) Breathe Easier-
Are you or a family member afflicted with Asthma?
Lamb is rich in selenium, a mineral that can help you or your loved
one breathe easier.
Word of Warning: Don't overdo the lamb. too much selenium is just
as harmful as not enough. And don't add mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls
and a piece of pie or the breathing difficulties will continue.
2) Thicker Hair-
No doubts about this one, all of the ladies mentioned above have
great heads of hair, and lamb may be the reason.
Rich in iron, a mineral important for growing and keeping
a head full of hair.
3) Prevent Cancer-
Pancreatic cancer to be exact. Again, rich in selenium and a deficiency of
selenium may lead to pancreatic cancer. New research says that Steve Jobs'
vegan diet was deficient in selenium.
So, if you're a burger, chicken or fish-loving person, perhaps it's time to add some

lamb to the menu.
It's working for Kelly, Melina, Maria and Jennifer.

Good Luck!
