The Met's Gala Food Rx For All Women!

The Met's Gala Menu Tip For Women!

You may remember that that the Met Gala was held this past Monday.

You know, the event that raises money for the Costume Institute, aka the Fashion
Institute.

It's also been called The Oscar show for Fashion or the East Coast Oscars.
And if you're also wondering -who gets to go, how much do they (stars)
pay to attend, or are they paid to attend, you can go to Google.com,

and type Met Gala in the search bar and get answers to all of these questions.

We at "Red Carpet Rxs" aren't interested in any of those things,
the thing we're most interested in is--"what they (stars) ate and how it (the food)
can benefit you.
And the answer to this question is lamb.

Lamb chops, asparagus and some type of apple dessert,
all for 30,000 dollars, (that's some very expensive lamb).

Lamb is quite popular in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern countries,
but in the U.S. it takes a back seat to beef and chicken, and that's too bad.
Why is that?
A good quality (grass-fed) lamb chop a few times a week can really bolster
your health, how so?

* A stronger immune system.
Women who go off all meat products in favor of fruits, vegetables,
and whole grains, may experience more colds, (and the colds will last longer as well).

Meat, especially lamb, provides you with ample amounts of zinc, and without
this important nutrient, the more colds you'll get.
* Less Belly Fat-
Lamb (and beef) contain conjugated linoleic acid, (CLA) a vital fatty acid, that helps
reduce body fat, (especially stubborn fat around the waist, stomach, hips, etc.)
* Thicker and Shinier Locks-

Ladies, are you tired of spending small fortunes on creams, pills, gels, shampoos,
and conditioners hoping to get the hair of your dreams?
Well, why not get all of those things from food, more specifically lamb.

Again, it's the zinc in lamb as well as the protein.
* Better Mental Health-
Yes, lamb and other types of meat provide you with the vital B vitamins,
and these are the vitamins that keep you motivated, focused and less depressed.
And one last thing, lamb also contains ample amounts of selenium,
a mineral that lowers your odds of getting certain cancers, and according to new
research, it (selenium) can also keep you from becoming antisocial, less shy and
even agoraphobic. (An anxiety disorder that leaves you fearing open spaces).
Important tip: Just make sure not have your lamb with rolls, mashed potatoes,
gravy, sweet drinks and desserts, not only will you be more depressed,

you'll also have to contend with more health issues- heart disease, fatty liver
and a bigger waistline.

So, if you were wondering what type of meal Beyonce, Kim K, Rhianna.  Nicki Minaj,
Demi Lovato, and George Clooney get for $30,000, wonder no more, now you know.

And if you need any more info on the benefits of lamb, (lamb chops) go to

Google.com and get more info there.
That's it!

Good Luck!

Singer's Diet Rx For A Bikini Body!

                              Lose Weight Like Mrs. Carter!

Want to lose weight, lower your blood pressure and cholesterol, boost energy

levels and improve your hair and skin?
Well, do like Mrs. Carter and join the 22 Day Revolution.

What is the 22-Day Revolution and who is Mrs. Carter?
Okay- the 22-Day Revolution was created by Miami native, Marco
Borges and it's a plant-based diet (vegan) and Mrs. Carter- She's
none other than Beyonce.

Yes, Beyonce has been all over the news lately showing off her slim
and trim body and she gives all of the credit to Mr. Borges.
And even though Ellen DeGeneres and some other Hollywood big wigs
have praised this type of diet for yrs. people are really starting to listen thanks to Beyonce.

Beyonce said she'd gained 60 pounds during her pregnancy and wanted a diet that
would help her shed the weight, but also help her put an end to the yo-yo dieting she
been going through for over a decade.
And if you want to try this diet out for yourself, head online to Google and

type 22-Day Revolution in the search box.

And lastly, to get you started on your own diet revolution, here's one of Bey's favorite recipes.
The Recipe:
A Meatless Taco.
Ingredients:

1 cup walnuts
1 Tbs. balsamic vinegar
1 tsp. coriander
gluten-free soy sauce * 1 1/2 tsp.
More spices- onion and garlic powder
paprika, marjoram, cayenne pepper (a pinch of each)
2 large lettuce leaves, Romaine, cleaned and dried
1 avocado
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes
1/2 lime
Parsley, dried 1/4 Tbs.
a dash of sea salt and black pepper
Directions:

In food processor of blender, pulse the first 5 ingredients.
Make sure not to overblend, just pulse it until it looks like meat.
Next, place the 2 lettuce leaves on a plate (yes, they're the taco shells) and remove the ingredients from the food processor,  put half of the taco mixture on 1 lettuce leaf and the remaining mixture on the
second lettuce leaf.
And finish up by adding some cut up avocado, salt, cherry tomatoes
and dried parsley to your taco.
* Can't find (or afford) gluten-free soy sauce, opt for low-sodium

There you have it, one of Beyonce's new favorite dishes.
Hope you enjoy it.

Good Luck!

Ellen Degeneres' Rx To Prevent Diabetes!

                                 Ellen's Meatless Diet!

Ellen Degeneres makes no secret about her diet, she's a vegan.
Although that may be to extreme for a lot of people, just eating
more fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and whole grains can help you

avoid one of the most feared diseases out there.
The Disease: Diabetes!

Vegetarians are almost 2/3s less likely to develop metabolic syndrome,
what is it?
It's a cluster of 5 conditions-belly fat, low HDLs, poor sugar control,

high blood pressure and high triglycerides-that together increase
your risk of diabetes and heart disease.

So, if you're concerned about getting diabetes or even if you have it-
then maybe you should look into going vegetarian.
Another tip: Vegetarianism doesn't mean going crazy, crazy on
the carbs. Some people see the diet as a way to eat more bread,

rolls, pastries and potato dishes.
Too many carbs can also increase your risk for diabetes and heart disease.

Good Luck!
