Sing To Prevent Colds!
Ever hear the expressions, sing for your supper?
How about, sing like a canary?
Well, if you're a fan of America's Got Talent, then you're well
aware that the singer Emily West was beat by a magician
named Matt Franco, (any relation to James, just wondering)
But don't feel bad for Ms. West, we're sure someone out there
will help her become a successful singer.
And there's another reason you shouldn't feel bad for Ms. West,
the reason: being a singer means she's less likely to get colds and the flu
during the Winter months.
What does that mean?
Singing, whether it's done on a stage in front of thousands
or singing in the shower, it (singing) raises the number of
antibodies in your system, providing you with the first line of
defense against invading viruses (germs) and bacteria.
And for those who want to know if there's anything
besides singing that'll help prevent colds, the answer is yes.
Those things...
a) Eat breakfast.
Just make sure it's a breakfast that'll boost health and
not donuts, cronuts, canolis, or danishes. Make it an egg,
broccoli, mushrooms and garlic stir-fry, a fruit/veggie
smoothie or some plain yogurt, fruit, & nuts.
b) Yoga or Tai Chi-
For some reason, gentle exercises boost your immunity
better than 5 miles of running or weightlifting for an hour each day.
c) Listen To Dr. Oz-
The good doctor says- to cut down on the number of colds
you get each yr. you may have to give up or cut way down on the
amount of sugar you eat. Salt gets the bad rap, but eat a lot of sugar
and you'll do considerable damage to your immune system.
Eat more fruit, or air-popped popcorn, nuts, or drink more...
tea with cinnamon or water to help shut down sugar cravings.
That's it- 4 tips to help you prepare for this yrs. cold and flu season.
And if you want even more great tips on how to bolster your immune
system, head on over to Amazon.com/the kindle store and type

Germany, Austria, China, Japan, Spain and Greece avoid
colds this time of year.
Good Luck!
