Fox's Hit Show Rx For Youthful Skin!

A Face Mask For More Youthful Skin!

Are you a fan of the hit show "The Mindy Project?"

It's one of the few hits on the Fox network and it's all
about a career woman (Mindy Kaling) trying to juggle
a demanding career and a complicated love life.

And if you're not that familiar with the back story of the show,
it was created by Mindy Kaling, a Boston native of Indian descent.
And like other superwomen in Hollywood, Tina Fey and Lena Dunham,
Ms. Kaling created and now writes most of the episodes.

But enough about Mindy's work ethic, this post is all about her skin.
Caramel colored and silky smooth.
And even though we don't have proof as to how she gets her skin to

look like that, we'll take a guess.
The guess: Turmeric powder.

You see, turmeric is a spice that's used in India like pepper is used here in
the U.S. and in one part of Northern India Alzheimer's is nonexistent.
That's right, turmeric has the ability to improve blood flow and
keep inflammation at bay and that's why people in Northern India only

see about 5% of the population get Alzheimer's.

Well, some enterprising soul decided that since it works wonders on one's insides,

perhaps it can do the same for the skin, and Voila, the Turmeric face mask.
Again, we're not sure if this is the secret formula Mindy Kaling is using,
but we thought we'd share it with you anyway.
So, if you have a free weekend or weekday, mix a tsp. of turmeric powder,
with a Tbs of plain yogurt and a tsp. of dark honey. Mix well, lie back

in a comfortable chair and apply to this mixture to your face and neck.
Leave on for 15 to 20 mins. and then rinse your face and neck with warm water.
Do this on your day off, just to make sure there's no severe reaction like redness

or hives and if it goes well, do it 2 to 3 times a week for a month or two
and then once a wk. for maintenance.

That's it--a low cost way to turn back the clock on your skin.

Oh, and make sure to add some turmeric to soups, stews, egg dishes,
chicken dishes, stir fries, salads or tea (add a tsp. to a mug of boiling water)
You don't want a face that looks 10 or more yrs. younger and a mind that
can't remember the days of the week or where you left your car keys.

Good Luck!
