A New Show's Rx For Beautiful Hair!

                         Hair Care Tip From Priyanka!

With the new season of television well underway, critics say there's
one show you may want to pay special attention to, the Show:

Quantico!

And among the cast is a woman who's regularly featured in People's

magazine-"Most beautiful issue" and who is she?
She's Priyanka Chopra and she plays an FBI recruit turned possible

terrorist.
And if you do tune in and watch, make sure to take notice of her hair.

Why?
Well, like a lot of Indian women, Ms. Chopra's is especially dark,
full and glossy and if you've ever wondered how they (the women of

India) get such beautiful locks, we have the secret.
And that secret is Curry!

Yes, we're talking about the spice.
Curcumin, the active ingredient in curry powder, triggers the release of
a healing neuropeptide that inhibits an enzyme linked to hormone-related hair loss.
And there's more-in addition to helping your hair become fuller and thicker,
curcumin can return hair to its original color. (Only if it has just started to go gray).

So, if you want hair like Mindy Kaling (also Indian) or Priyanka Chopra,
start adding more curry to vegetable dishes, stews, soups, egg dishes, meats
or to a plain cup of hot water (1/2 tsp.) and drink it as you would tea.

That's it- and if you want to know more beauty secrets from your sisters
from India, Brazil, Japan, China, Australia, or Greece, head on over to
Amazon.com/ the kindle store and type Beauty Secrets From The World's

Hottest Women in the search bar, download it and learn how to save money
(on all of those drugstore beauty items) and how to become more  beautiful.

Good Luck!

Fox's Hit Show Rx For Youthful Skin!

A Face Mask For More Youthful Skin!

Are you a fan of the hit show "The Mindy Project?"

It's one of the few hits on the Fox network and it's all
about a career woman (Mindy Kaling) trying to juggle
a demanding career and a complicated love life.

And if you're not that familiar with the back story of the show,
it was created by Mindy Kaling, a Boston native of Indian descent.
And like other superwomen in Hollywood, Tina Fey and Lena Dunham,
Ms. Kaling created and now writes most of the episodes.

But enough about Mindy's work ethic, this post is all about her skin.
Caramel colored and silky smooth.
And even though we don't have proof as to how she gets her skin to

look like that, we'll take a guess.
The guess: Turmeric powder.

You see, turmeric is a spice that's used in India like pepper is used here in
the U.S. and in one part of Northern India Alzheimer's is nonexistent.
That's right, turmeric has the ability to improve blood flow and
keep inflammation at bay and that's why people in Northern India only

see about 5% of the population get Alzheimer's.

Well, some enterprising soul decided that since it works wonders on one's insides,

perhaps it can do the same for the skin, and Voila, the Turmeric face mask.
Again, we're not sure if this is the secret formula Mindy Kaling is using,
but we thought we'd share it with you anyway.
So, if you have a free weekend or weekday, mix a tsp. of turmeric powder,
with a Tbs of plain yogurt and a tsp. of dark honey. Mix well, lie back

in a comfortable chair and apply to this mixture to your face and neck.
Leave on for 15 to 20 mins. and then rinse your face and neck with warm water.
Do this on your day off, just to make sure there's no severe reaction like redness

or hives and if it goes well, do it 2 to 3 times a week for a month or two
and then once a wk. for maintenance.

That's it--a low cost way to turn back the clock on your skin.

Oh, and make sure to add some turmeric to soups, stews, egg dishes,
chicken dishes, stir fries, salads or tea (add a tsp. to a mug of boiling water)
You don't want a face that looks 10 or more yrs. younger and a mind that
can't remember the days of the week or where you left your car keys.

Good Luck!
