Media Mogul's Rx To Avoid Winter Weight Gain!

Do Not Gain Weight This Winter!

You're probably well aware of the fact that media titan Oprah Winfrey
is now a big shareholder and member of Weight Watchers.
And you're also probably aware of the fact that she's lost 25 pounds so far,
all while eating one of her favorite foods.

What food is that?
Bread.

But hold on, Ms. Winfrey isn't telling you the whole truth,
and what truth is that?
She's admitted in the past that potatoes are her favorite food.
And why is this news?
Well, according to new research,  eating potatoes (especially right now)
may be better for you,  in regards to weight.

Say what? Potatoes to lose weight.
Yes,  researchers studied German people and found that Germans eat twice as many
potatoes as their American brothers and sisters and are 90% less likely to
be overweight.
It's true, you may have been told to stay away from potatoes, but according
to this new research, it's simply not true that eating potatoes cause weight gain.
The researchers say that potatoes contain tryptophan, magnesium, and potassium--

nutrients that keep you full and boost your metabolism.
Another plus, eating a potato  an hour before bed will help you
get to sleep and stay asleep.

So, are you convinced? Are you ready to add more potatoes to your daily
menus? If so, just remember to have them baked, boiled, steamed, or fried
with a little amount of oil. Also important-- skip the big burgers, (mainly the

buns) the 30 oz. soda or fruit juice and the sweet treat, (hot apple pie).
Bake them and add some sour cream, salsa or guacamole.

One last tip: If Winter weight gain is a problem, head on over to

Amazon.com/ the kindle store and type The Thin Girl's Guide To Preventing
Winter Weight Gain in the search bar. Learn dozens of ways to stay slim
and trim this Winter season.

That's it for today.

Good Luck!

Simple Tips To Prevent Cancer!

6 Tips To Keep Cancer At Bay!

If you think Hollywood stars have it easier when it comes to cancer prevention,
you're wrong.
Cancer doesn't care whether you live in Beverly Hills, Cal. and earn millions of dollars
or if you live in Kirkland Washington, and earn about 40,000 dollars each yr.

And if you're into pop and celebrity culture, then you're well aware that a number
of stars are cancer survivors. (Christine Applegate, Hoda Kotb,  and Brook Burke
Charvet).

Okay, now that you know cancer doesn't discriminate, it's time to do something about it,
and that something: six simple steps and these steps come from top doctor, Mark Hyman, M.D.
His six tips:
a) Ditch Sugar-
Impossible? Not so. Dr. Hyman says an occasional piece of birthday cake or wedding cake
is okay, but flooding your body with candy, having a  daily danish and a sweet treat at night
on a daily basis is a recipe not only for cancer, but diabetes,  frequent colds,
bad skin, (acne and eczema) and cravings (which may lead to obesity).
b) Food Sensitivities-
Simply put, read labels. If a food has more than 3 ingredients listed on it, then it may be
a food or beverage you should avoid. Foods that contain a whole list of ingredients
to help preserve them, may be doing the opposite to your health. Another way to avoid this-
start cooking and preparing more of your own meals, so you know exactly what's going into them.

c) Reduce Inflammation-
Think of inflammation as someone standing or sitting next to you and sneezing without covering
their mouth. That what inflammation is- that sneeze that goes everywhere, into your joints,

organs, tissue, and arteries. And you can reduce inflammation by eating better,  stop drinking
and smoking, ( 1 drink a day is okay)
getting more sleep, (especially from 11:00 pm to 2:00 am). exercising more and drinking

top quality teas (without sugar and a danish)
d) Reduce Toxic Exposure-

Almost impossible, but it can be minimized. Stop using all types of household cleaners,
(Mr. Clean, pine-sol, Lysol, oven cleaners, etc. ) This also goes for personal hygiene
items, certain types of candles,  cooking foods at high temperatures (without a fan)
and on and on. And what do you use instead? You can go online to Google.com
and type how to make a natural bug spray, deodorant, toothpaste, or oven cleaner.
And if money isn't an issue- go to Honest.com and look for all-natural products
there. (and yes, it's the company started and managed by actress Jessica Alba).

As for the outdoor exposures- the smoke and fumes from buses, cabs, factories,
etc. you may want to think about moving (if you're exposed to these things) or wear a
gas or cloth mask while you're out.
e) Change Your Thoughts-
Again something that may seem impossible. Are you angry with a co-worker,

or a friend (who's owed you money for yrs.) or a family member?
Believe it or not, negative thoughts just like a poor diet and smoking can cause havoc on
your immune system. So, how does one go about changing the negative self-talk?
You can go to Google.com for some answers or watch youtube videos on meditating

or changing one's thoughts or you may want to find a therapist in your area, who can help you
learn to forgive and forget.
f) Drink More-
Water. Believe it or not, water can flush out a lot of toxins and impurities that
may develop into cancer. In fact, one doctor prescribed a few glasses of water
right after getting up in the morning to avoid cancer and other health issues.

One warning- doing this (especially in the beginning) may lead to frequent
trips to the bathroom, nos. 1 and 2) just space out the water breaks and make sure
you're drinking a top quality of water.

That's it- 6 simple things you can do to keep yourself cancer-free.

Good Luck!

A Female Star's Shake Rx For Staying Slim and Energized!

The Clueless Rx For Energy and Staying Slim!

In 2015 there will be a big celebration, what type of celebration?
A celebration of a movie that was released 20 yrs ago.
The movie: Clueless.

You remember, the movie that showed the rest of America
how some young ladies behave when they come from Beverly Hills, Ca.
obscene amounts of money and  absentee parents.

The movie also introduced America to Paul Rudd, Stacey Dash,

Brittany Murphy, Donald Faison and Alicia Silverstone.
As mentioned, next yr. will be the 20th anniversary of the
movie's release, and if you saw Ms. Sliverstone today,
you'd still think it was 1995.

How is that possible, you ask?
Well, she did become a vegan about a decade ago,
but that isn't the only reason for her trim figure and
still-youthful face, okay then- what else is there?
Okay, okay-it's a Shake.

Yes, you're reading it right, a shake.
More specifically, Amazing Meal Vanilla Chai Infusion.
It's a plant-based shake that tastes like A chai latte.
This shake also has 11 grams of fat-burning protein
and a ton of  digestion-enhancing probiotics per serving,
and that protein and the probiotics help keep you slim, trim
and energized.
Look for these shakes at health-food stores.
and we better warn you, they'll cost you.
Price- $40 for 15 shakes.

So, if you're a fan of the hit movie, and plan on seeing
it again next yr.  take a look at Ms. Silverstone and
remember, she looks almost the same.

Good Luck!

Low-Cost Facial Rx For Worn Out Winter Skin!

Low Cost Mask For The Winter!
Tis the season for fatty foods, salty foods, lack of sleep
and concerns about finances. All of these things combined will

you worn out physically and mentally, they'll also leave your face
looking dried out and puffy.

There's a spa secret that'll help you rejuvenate your that dry, dull skin,

but only a select few (like movie and music stars) can afford spa
treatments.
But wait, we looked around and asked some of the best alternative healers
out there if they had any suggestions, (low-cost suggestions, and here's
what they came up with...
In a blender, place 4 slices of cucumbers, and a 1/2 cup of plain
yogurt, blend until smooth. Lie back and place the cuke/yogurt mixture
over your clean, dry face and leave on for 15 mins. Rinse off with
warm water.

The cucumber and yogurt help reduce the inflammation (from the lack of
sleep and the holiday snacking).

So, if you find that your face is the worse for wear, remember the 2 food
combo facial mask.
Another tip--you also have to get adequate amounts of sleep, stop obsessing

over finding the perfect gifts and limit the heavy, carb-laden foods you put
into your mouth.

Good Luck!

One star who really loves spa treatments: Mandy Moore!
That's right, the talented actress and singer, makes it a point to visit spas regularly.
Specifically- A spa treatment called Hot Buttered Hand Massage and Manicure!

In fact, your hands can age faster than your face and body, especially

if you don't treat them from time to time.
Ms. Moore gets her hands done at a spa/beauty salon in Beverly Hills
called "The Paint Shop!"

Unfortunately, with today's economy, many of you out there aren't able
to travel to Beverly Hills and get your hands treated, like Ms. Moore.

willing to share them. Look below and turn back the clock on your hands...
