Superstar's Rx For Losing Weight!

                            Sleep Like JLo! 
Jennifer Lopez is always looking for ways to stay slim, trim and youthful, and 

her latest discovery: Getting more sleep.
Actress Penelope Cruz was always outspoken about her need to sleep
for 8 to 9 hours, and now, J Lo has joined Ms. Cruz and is singing the
praises of sleep as a way to get slim and stay slim as well.

How does sleep work?
Sleep less than 7 hrs. and you greatly increase your odds of
 gaining weight. Too little sleep affects metabolism and
the 2 sleep hormones--ghrelin and leptin. 


And if you have trouble getting to sleep and staying asleep,
try the 2 simple tips that might work.
The tips: 

* Get some exercise, aerobic exercise, best done before
 7:00 pm. And it doesn't have to be jogging, dancing
 (like JLo) or hula-hooping (like Marisa Tomei)
 will work just fine. Or do some gentle stretching
 about an hour before bed.
* Drink up- Some recommend milk, but a lot of people
 can't stomach or just don't like it. 

 The new milk: Cherry juice. Make it tart cherry juice,
 (find it at supermarkets or GNC stores.) add a Tbs. to a
 glass of water and hr. before bed. Some people who've tried
 this, say it's the miracle they've been looking for.
 Hey- it's cheaper and safer than sleeping pills.

So, there you have it--another health tip from the one and 

only J Lo.

J Lo's Scent Rx To Control Cravings!

                                   Control Your Cravings Like JLo! 
Jennifer Lopez, aka JLo is like a lot of women, she has to watch her calories
and that means keeping cravings under control. How does she do it?
With a form of therapy that's been around for hundreds of yrs, but 

is quickly becoming more popular here in the U.S.
The alternative therapy: Aromatherapy!

That's right- taking in the scent of a certain plant, fruit or food
can help you sleep, reduce anxiety levels and control cravings.
And JLo being into alternative types of therapy, stumbled upon
grapefruit as a way to control her cravings.

Why grapefruit? Researchers say that the oil from the grapefruit's 

skin stimulates nerve responses in the GI tract that reduce appetite.
Something even better...These oils activate nerves within fat tissue to
aid the breakdown of fat.
And another benefit of grapefruit scent: women who wore a perfume
with the grapefruit scent were thought to be a few yrs. younger than 

their actual age while they were at bars or single clubs.

So, if you need help controlling yourself around the pies, cookies,
