Singer's Fruit Rx To Look Younger!

                                   Look Younger Like Rhianna! 

If makeup and sunscreen are taking their toll on your skin, you know-
clogged pores and dull skin. you may want to reverse it with fruit. 


Fruit?
Yes, with the fruits that are as popular in Rhianna's home country (The Bahamas)
as apples and oranges are here in the U.S. 

The fruits: Papaya and Pineapples.

These 2 tropical fruits contain special enzymes and compounds
that clear clogged pores and dissolves dead skin cells.
And the other ingredients-honey and yogurt hydrate the skin,
giving you a healthy, youthful glow. 


The recipe for the Pineapple-Papaya Peel--
Combine 3 Tbs. papaya, (pureed) with 2 Tbs. pineapple (also pureed)
1 Tbs. dark honey or 1 Tbs. plain yogurt.
Mix all of the ingredients well, sit or lie back in a comfortable
chair and with your fingertips smooth 
the mask over your face and neck. 
Leave on for 10 to 15 mins. and then- rinse the mask off with warm water
and follow up with your favorite moisturizer.

That's it- a youth-enhancing facial mask for the Summer.

Singer's Favorite Citrus Fruit Rx For Weight Loss!

                               Drink That Lemonade! 

We're still not sure of the Beyonce-inspired lemonade campaign,
but we are sure that if weight loss or weight maintenance is a concern
this Summer, you must incorporate more citrus into your meals
and especially your drinks. 


That's right- forgo the pina coladas and margaritas this Summer season 

and have mocktails? 
What are those?
Non-alcoholic drinks. 


And why must you use more lemon and limes this Summer?
Because it (citrus) helps you fight stubborn fat 3 ways...
* It switches on good genes responsible for burning 

excessive fat.
* It boost liver function- Increase liver's ability  to expel 

more toxins, toxins that may cause that weight gain in the 1st place.
* Stabilize Blood Sugar Levels-
Avoid the rapid sugar highs and lows with citrus, doing so makes it 

easier to lose and manage weight, plus, steady blood sugar levels
means lower odds of becoming a diabetic. 


So, are you ready to take on the lemonade (and limeade) challenge?
If so, here's a mocktail to get you started...
It's called The Lemon-Lime Refresher Mocktail!
Ingredients:

2 slices lemon
2 slices lime
clean the peels thoroughly, as you will be using them. 

1 sprig of mint
1 Tbs. lemon juice
1 Tbs. lime juice
1 cup of cold water
1 Tbs. raw honey or real maple syrup, Optional.
Directions:
Chill a glass for 30 to 60 mins. before starting.
And in a large bowl, muddle the first 3 ingredients.
To muddle- 

Mash down with a wooden spoon, this releases oils
from the citrus and mint and makes the drink taste better.
Add these ingredients to the chilled glass, add the lemon and lime 

juice, the cold water,  and the honey or syrup.
Stir well and if you like- add a few ice cubes and a sprig of mint, or
a slice of lime over the edge of glass for garnishment.
That's it- a Citrusy, Summery Slimming Drink.

The Female Singers Beverage Rx For Better Summer Health!

                            Madge and Rhi-Rhi's Favorite Beverage! 

If you're wondering who Madge and Rhi-Rhi are, then you may
not be a true fan of pop culture.
And if do know they're Madonna and Rhianna, you may be too
involved in pop culture. 


Anyway, there's a beverage both women drink and  it (the beverage)
can help revitalize you this Summer, the Fall and the Winter as well.
The beverage:
Coconut water.
Rhianna is rumored to drink it a few times a week, especially after a concert
and Madonna not only drinks it, she's invested a lot of money in
a company that produces the revitalizing beverage.
And if you drink it or plan on drinking it, here are 3 things this
special beverage can do for you.
a) Boost Thyroid Health-
One of the most important glands in the body and if you notice
weight gain (or loss) thinning eyebrows or constant fatigue,
it may be your thyroid. And one way to keep it (thyroid)
in tip-top shape is with coconut water.
