A Funny Lady's Rx For Maintaining Weight!

                        The Seinfeld Rx!
Actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus has been around for quite a while.
Now in her early 50's, she looks better than ever.
She was on Saturday Night Live, Seinfeld, Day By Day, The New Adventures of
Old Christine and at this present time, she's starring in Veep.

Like a lot of stars Ms. Louis-Dreyfus has to watch her weight.
Not only because she's 5' 1" tall, but to make sure Hollywood continues to
offer her leading lady roles.
And if you too, struggle with weight, do like Ms. Louis-Dreyfus and
start eating breakfast.

That's right, no starvation diets, no hours doing Pilates, just a
plain, old-fashioned breakfast.
And her breakfast of choice:

Eggs, fried in a little olive oil , a slice of whole-grain bread smeared with some
honey.
Ms. Louis-Dreyfus said that a few yrs. ago, she was a breakfast skipper,

but decided to start eating it after hearing about the benefits.
One benefit in particular--she doesn't snack mindlessly (and endlessly)
at 1 or 2 in the afternoon and continue doing it right up until 6 or 7 pm.

No, she says that a good-quality and filling breakfast has put an end to
that.

So, if you're struggling with cravings and snacking on fattening
and forbidden foods well into the evening hrs. take a page out
of the Julia Louis-Dreyfus handbook and start eating breakfast.
And lastly, if you're not an egg and turkey bacon kind of gal,
there are always fruit and veggie smoothies, gluten-free
pancakes, bowls of steel cut oatmeal, mushrooms and veggies

and brown rice with cinnamon, allspice, and some low-glycemic
fruits, (apples, pears and berries).

Good Luck!

Hollywood's Romantic Movie Rx Just For Women!

Burning The Candle At Both Ends!

Are you fans of romantic movies?
How about a scene where a man (or woman) lights one candle or a bunch
of candles?
Well, if you've taken a cue from one of your favorite movies and
lit a candle or two to set up a romantic mood, you may want
to stop that.

Stop lighting candles, why?

According to new research, scented candles (and even some air freshners)
raise your risk of developing breast cancer.

That's right, if you remember a post we did right after pop stars' Donna
Summers death, we told you about her obsession with keeping things
clean. Which means-she was constantly using Mr. Clean, Lysol,
oven cleaner, etc. to keep smells and stains away.

And today, you can add scented candles and some air freshners to that list.
Chemically scented products kick out compounds called Phthalates,
and these compounds act exactly like estrogen in your body, speeding
the growth and spread of abnormal cancer cells.
So, if you still want a house that's sweet smelling or if you want
to continue setting a romantic mood with a candle or two,
head online to Google.com and type--where to buy or how to make
natural scented candles, and natural cleaning products
that are chemical-free in the search bar.

Or, go to Honest.com, (the site run by Jessica Alba)
she might have some home cleaning products, air freshners and candles that won't put your health in danger.

Good Luck!
