The View's Rx For A Healthier Snack!

                          Don't Snack Like Whoopi!

If you're a real fan of the morning show known as "The View"
then you may be familiar with the lifestyle choices made by
Ms. Goldberg!
Barbara Walters outed her a few weeks ago, outed her how?
Ms. Walters said that "Whoopi would eat chips 3 times a day,
if she could get away with it."

You see, Whoopi is like Jay Leno, in that neither of them will eat
vegetables, and don't forget--Whoopi also recently quit smoking,
(for the 100th time).

So, if you too, are a potato chip fanatic, try the lower calorie and

healthier alternative, listed below.
What is it?
Whole-Grain Tortilla Chips.
Buy a bag, (try the healthier blue chips), open up the

bag and place a few on a cookie sheet.
Brush them with olive or canola oil, (or cooking spray)
cut open a lime and sprinkle some of the juice on the chips,
and finish up with a little onion, garlic and/or chili powder.
Bake 8 to 10 mins. at 375 degrees.

That's it- And with the Superbowl about 4 wks. away, break out
this healthier version for your guests.

The View's Rx For A Healthier Snack!

                     Eating A Better Quality Chip!

Are you a snacker? What is your snack of choice?
Nuts? Candy? Cookies? Salsa and Chips? Or just plain chips,
as in potato chips?
Well, you're not alone, count T.V. s' Whoopi Goldberg as
someone who likes to indulge in the salty, crunchy treats.

A few potato chips every now and then won't cause too much damage,
but have a bag or bowl full everyday and you risk your health
in more ways than you can count.

And that's the dilemma facing Whoopi and millions out there,
do I continue and risk health problems, or do I find an alternative
to the high calorie, high fat chips available today?
Choose the second option, and the healthy alternative is...
"Beanitos Chipotle BBQ Black Bean Chips!"
We know, they may not sound too appetizing, but they are,
the beans are loaded with omega-3 rich black beans and the spicy
chipotle pepper, help rev up your metabolism.

So, if you were trying to quit your potato chip addiction,
you may not have to, thanks to the info listed above.

And also important: Chips do have calories, so you still have to
discipline yourself when you're around the crunchy treats.
Look for the chips at your Supermarket, and if your supermarket doesn't
have them yet,  just google the name of them (the chips) and find out where
you can purchase them.

Good Luck!
