The View's Rx For A Healthier Snack!

                     Eating A Better Quality Chip!

Are you a snacker? What is your snack of choice?
Nuts? Candy? Cookies? Salsa and Chips? Or just plain chips,
as in potato chips?
Well, you're not alone, count T.V. s' Whoopi Goldberg as
someone who likes to indulge in the salty, crunchy treats.

A few potato chips every now and then won't cause too much damage,
but have a bag or bowl full everyday and you risk your health
in more ways than you can count.

And that's the dilemma facing Whoopi and millions out there,
do I continue and risk health problems, or do I find an alternative
to the high calorie, high fat chips available today?
Choose the second option, and the healthy alternative is...
"Beanitos Chipotle BBQ Black Bean Chips!"
We know, they may not sound too appetizing, but they are,
the beans are loaded with omega-3 rich black beans and the spicy
chipotle pepper, help rev up your metabolism.

So, if you were trying to quit your potato chip addiction,
you may not have to, thanks to the info listed above.

And also important: Chips do have calories, so you still have to
discipline yourself when you're around the crunchy treats.
Look for the chips at your Supermarket, and if your supermarket doesn't
have them yet,  just google the name of them (the chips) and find out where
you can purchase them.

Good Luck!

Kanye West's Snack Rx For Better Winter Health!

                                      Snack Like Kanye!

Kanye West, you may love him or you may hate him,
but you can't deny the man has a way with words.
Another thing you can't deny, his choice of snack foods

is smart, really smart.
No it's not Twinkies, no it's not Twizzlers, and no it's not
M & Ms.

So, can you guess? If you said pistachios, give yourself a hand.
And they have to be green not red pistachios.
We're not sure why, and we're not about to ask.
Anyway, why such praise for Pistachios?
Because it deserves it, seriously, it can do a number of things
to boost your health, like...

a) Stress Reliever-
Get stressed out around the holidays? More stress makes it easier to catch
colds, so reduce your risks with pistachios. They're high in B vitamins,
and the more B vitamins you have in your system, the lower your stress levels.

b) PMS Relief-
Ladies, tired of suffering from unbearable pain every month?
Eat a small amount of pistachios a few days prior to your period.
Or eat them yr. round and prevent PMS and other health maladies.
c) Alertness-
Have trouble staying awake during a work or school lecture?

Stay more alert by eating Pistachios.
d) Control Hunger-
A Dr. recommends eating a tbs. or two of pistachios about 60 to 90
mins. after eating- why? He says that pistachios are a great food to
curb hunger and stop you from eating well into the late night.
e) A Healthy Heart-
The heart works hard during the Winter, cold temperatures,
the shoveling, and the onslaught of fatty foods.
So, reduce the heart's workload and make it work more
efficiently by eating some pistachios.
A Fun Fact: It's reported that Mr. West has a high sex drive and
is able to last for 20 mins. or more. Sex really stresses the heart,
and Mr. Wests' love of pistachios may be the reason for
the extra stamina needed for those long love sessions.

That's it- Kanye's snack tip for stress relief, more alertness,
controlling cravings and Superman's heart.
Feel free to eat almonds, pecans, Brazil nuts, walnuts,
and peanuts, they all offer health-boosting benefits.

Good Luck!
