The Royal's Rx For a Healthier Marriage!

Marriage Tips From Will and Kate!

Will and Kate are taking their young son with them to visit countries
like New Zealand and Australia.
Nothing unusual about that.
Oh and they also hired a staff to help care
for the future royal prince. Again, nothing unusual about that.
What is unusual, is that Duchess Kate said "that the extra help

will allow her and Prince William to spend some more quality time together."
In other words, "date nights!"
People have said that the Duchess is smart, but we didn't know how smart.

How so?

According to new research, date nights not only make your relationship
better, they also make your health better.
And that's for both partners.

That's right and the benefits come from taking time out for each other,
seeing a movie, walking on the beach or just sitting in a restaurant talking
about...whatever.

The emotional bonds you're building doing dates nights protect you against
the harmful effects of stress--the the type of stress that start you on a path
towards depression, heart disease and stomach problems.

So, if you and your spouse are debating about whether or not to have a
date night, listen to Duchess Kate and do it. You'll be blessed with a stronger
marriage and better heath.

Will and Kate's Rx For A Happier Marriage!

One Trick For A Happier Marriage!

As far as celebrity marriages go, Will and Kate's might actually last.
How so, you ask?
They did a number of things right, things like...
a) Becoming friends first. They were roommates while attending college.
b) Laughing at each other's jokes.
c) Kind and Affectionate towards one another.
d) Get Involved- Will needed someone who would support
the causes his mom supported and Duchess Kate fits that bill.

If you're planning on getting married or just newly married,
use the secrets Will and Kate use and stay happily married
for yrs. and yrs.
Now it's on to the couples that aren't that happily married and
if you look to Hollywood, you have hundreds of examples.

One complaint from women that will derail a marriage quickly...
"He won't help out at home."
If you're a woman and this is your number 1 complaint,

there is something you can do about it, that something...
Say--" Feel free to say no!"
Whether you ask him to clean the garage or run to the supermarket,
remember to say--"Feel  free to say no."

Why say that?
Some marriage counselors think that adding a phrase like that
doubles the chance that a person will say yes.
This phrase or something similar tells hubby or boyfriend that
you respect their freedom to choose and that may get them to
really want to help you out.

So, if you're newly married or newly engaged,
remember this phrase when you want him to

help you out with something.
And if you want to make your marriage last for yrs.
and yrs. head to Amazon.com/the kindle store and look

things that'll help you make it to 50 yrs. of marriage.
a) Cuddle More-
Cuddling is a dirty word to some guys, but tell him about the

According to some therapists- the best way to discuss a problem child or
the sky high credit cards...Sit side by side and calmly discuss what's on your
mind.
f) Use Technology-
Do you send texts to remind him or her of a chore? Well, use technology
to send a message of kindness or your love for him or her.

last for a long time. Continue reading and discover some ways to
keep your own relationship strong, healthy and happy just like
Kate and Will.

a) Show Affection-
Difficult for the royals to do with all of the papparazi around,
but it's possible. Say nice things to one another, hold hands, and
give gifts for no particular reason. When you do and say nice things
for one another, your partner will be inspired to reciprocate, which
creates a positive and loving atmosphere.
A fun fact: Kate and Will are the first royal couple to kiss-twice
on the wedding balcony.
b) Respect The In-Laws-
Ah, In-laws they're one if the most common sources of marital conflict
and imagine if you're mother in-law is the Queen of England?

Kate and Will have taken big steps to become close with their spouse's
families. Support from all sides of the family is a big key to making a
relationship a long-lasting success.
Be kind and gracious to your in-laws (even if he or she is difficult),
compliment them on their cooking, wear their "homemade" gifts,
(a cap that was knitted) and accept their tips and suggestions
on everything from child rearing to cooking.
c) Show Some Support-
Kate is often home alone due to the fact Prince William is still in the military,
but he makes sure to call and tell her "how proud and grateful" he is
of her for standing by him.
Showing support by saying thanks more often, and giving encouragement
verbally and nonverbally whenever possible.
d) Laugh More-
The benefits of laughing are endless...you'll feel less depressed
and enjoy better heart health. And new research says that couples

who are playful and laugh together are better able to deal with stress
and are more likely to stay together through thick and thin.
So, do like Kate and Will and enjoy a good laugh together and
keep the sarcastic comments to a minumum.
e) Stay Friends-
Simply put, Kate and Will were friends (for 10 yrs.) before they were actually
married. And even though they're now married, they remain friends
as well. So, find out what's happening in your spouses' (friends') life,
ask how their day went, support them in their hobbies or working life
and just be there when they want to vent or complain about traffic
or a coworker.
f) Do Some Good Together-
William is taking after his mother, he's involved in worthy causes
and his wife is also getting involved. Helping others creates a "feel good"

effect that gives your relationship a big boost.
