Celebrities Rxs For Wearing Flip-Flops!

                                Wearing Flip-Flops Like The Stars! 

Who doesn't love flip-flops in the Summer?
Well, apparently a lot of stars do. According to some fashion polls,
stars like Nicole S. (From the Pussycat Dolls), Jessica Alba,
Halle Berry, Uma Thurman and Jennifer Aniston are big fans.
Their favorite flip-flops: Havianas!

There's no question about the comfort of flip flops, but did you know about
the dangers of wearing them.
The danger: Low back pain.


Yes, a lot of women and some men have reportedly complained about
low back pain as a result of wearing them-day after day.
Why does it happen?
Flip-flops dramatically change your gait (walking style) mainly because
you have to work to keep them from slipping off. And this can throw the
body out of alignment, leading to pain in the lower back, knees, hips,
ankle and feet.

If you're suffering from back pain and want to realign your back,
do the following...Lie on your stomach with elbows bent and palms
on the floor. Straighten your arms to raise your chest and hold for
15 to 20 secs. Repeat about 3 to 5 times. Do it daily, or until the pain
goes away.

And lastly,
Do you throw out the flip-flops and switch to a pair of sneakers?
No, just consider switching to thong sandals with ankle straps or strappy
"birdcage" sandals that surround the whole foot.
