Adopt Like Charlize!
Charlize Theron just adopted a baby. Before that, she adopted a dog from
an animal shelter. Like a lot of stars, Ms. Theron didn't want to spend money
on a puppy from a "puppy mill" and decided on a shelter.
Some other stars who reportedly also adopted from an animal shelter.

If you want to adopt or help get an animal(s) adopted,
do the following...
a) Get On Facebook-
Criticized as a waste of time, but Facebook
and other social media sites can help.
"Like" a shelter on Facebook-share the status update with your friends and
ask them to re-post it to their friends. The more you post about the shelter,
the more animals they'll help.
b) Go Searching-
On the Web. instead of using Google, start your Web searches at GoodSearch.com
and sponsors will donate to your charity of choice-for free. You can support
programs like the Pet finder Foundation, which works to help every animal find a home.
c) Use Your E-mail-
Simply put-Add a signature at the end of your e-mail, like a quick note and link
to your shelter's website. Doing this allows you to spread the word about
animals that need adopting, just by sending a message.
