A Hollywood Actor's Rx For Cooking A Juicy Turkey!

             Cook The Perfect Bird!
One of Hollywood's top leading men decided to have Thanksgiving
at his home. What's so unusual about this?
He and his wife were going to do the cooking?
Again, what's so unusual about that?
Neither one of them were skilled in the kitchen.

Well, his wife decided to cook the turkey (for the first ever)
and went about cleaning it, removing the innards and then seasoning

it. When she was ready to place it in the oven, she placed the turkey
breast side down.

The turkey cooked for 3 to 3 1/2 hrs. and she decided to remove it
from the oven, and at this time, their guests had arrived.
Some of the guests decided to help her in the kitchen
and upon seeing the turkey upside down, told her-
"that's not how you cook a turkey."

Long story short, she and her husband served the turkey
and received rave reviews.

But, it doesn't end there, a few weeks later, she saw "superstar"
chef  Wolfgang Puck on television cooking a turkey and
he told the audience--"if you want a juicier turkey, cook

it breast side down."
Aha- the actress wife of the big star felt vindicated and she also called
the guests that criticized her and rubbed it in some more.
And if you haven't guessed the actor and actress it was...
Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson.
One of Hollywood's most stable and longest married couples.

So, if you wanted to know how to cook a turkey to make it
more juicy, now you know, thanks to Mrs. Tom Hanks!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hollywood's Rx For Wearing A Belt This Winter!

                      Wear A Belt With Confidence!

Holiday get togethers, special dinner and office parties will be
a reality for a lot of us in the next 3 months.
And that means belts.

Belts?
Yes, belts over sweaters, over dresses and over your coats.
And it also means it may not work, thanks to the dresses
and sweaters not having belt loops.

But don't despair- if you're belt ends up sticking out and looking
messy, use the following tip from a top Hollywood stylist.
Apply a strip of double-sided tape to the underside of the belt's
tip, then press down to secure it. Doing your belt this way insures that

it (the belt) will stap put all day or all evening.
That's it- a simple tip for looking great all Fall and Winter.

Good Luck!

Alicia Key's Rx For Heart Health!

                      Cook Like Alicia!

Alicia Keys, the beautiful songstress doesn't have a lot of time to cook,
but when she does, she makes a Holiday favorite that wins rave reviews.

What is it? Terria Joseph's Turkey In A Bag!
Terria is mom to Alicia and she passed down the Turkey recipe to her.
Cooking turkey isn't that unusual this time of yr. and making a good tasting turkey
isn't that all that unusual, but eating a certain part of the turkey can make
you unusual. Unusual in the fact that you may lower your odds of ever getting
heart disease.

That's right- the fatty leg, the part many women are frightened of (the size,
the calorie count) contains taurine-an amino acid found in the fatty and flavorful
parts of chicken and turkey and it can heal arteries and prevent them from suffering
further damage. And healthier arteries means better blood flow, especially to the heart.

So,  if you're a woman with high cholesterol. a chicken or turkey leg is quite
alright, but watch the side dishes, like...mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and
gravy, biscuits, green beans loaded with butter and a 12 oz. glass of sweet tea,
these are the real culprits that do damage to delicate arteries that surround the heart.

And if you want the recipe for the turkey by Alicia Keys, go to MSN.com

and right there on the front page is a picture of Alicia Keys, click on the link
and you'll be directed right to the turkey recipe.

Good Luck!
