The Netflix Rxs For A Happier Marriage!

Watch Movies To Improve Your Love Life!

Are you a member of Netflix?
If you are great, if you're not a member that's okay
as well. Watching movies can inspire us, make us buy a certain brand
of clothing or music or inspire us to help those who are less fortunate
(Pay it Forward).

And if movies can do those things, they can also help a relationship.

Help a relationship, how?
By triggering biological changes in the brain to make us feel

more romantic, more passionate and more open with each other.
So, look below and learn which flick will help your relationship
become even better.
1) Comedies-
Are you a fan of Wedding Crashers or Ron Burgundy?
If you're fans of comedies that means you enjoy laughing together
and researchers say it makes couples feel more relaxed and cozy towards
each other. It's also the thing (laughter) that Jennifer Lawrence says she
appreciated most about her parents, their willingness to laugh and their
shared sense of not taking things so seriously.
So, if you feel disconnected and detached from your partner, you must

rent a Will Farrell or Melissa McCarthy movie.
2) Romantic Movies-
Are you a fan of "The Notebook" or "Dear John?" (chick flicks)
Then you're the type that wants more heart to heart moments with
your partner. It also means you want hubby or boyfriend to be more
honest and open with you. Watching these types of movies can increase
the anti-anxiety hormones in your system, helping you to feel more
secure and connected.
So, if your significant other has been distant or aloof, then it's time
to get Ryan Gosling or Channing Tatum involved.
3) Holiday Movies-
If you watch "It's a Wonderful Life" or "The Wizard of Oz" every holiday
season it may mean you feel like things aren't what they used to be.
Going back to sentimental movies like these means we want more of the
simple and less complicated times in our lives, (childhood)
it may also mean you want more of the bonding you had when things were
less chaotic. (before kids)
So, go ahead and watch "Miracle on 34th Street" but remember- things
may never be that simple and carefree again.

4) Action Movies-
Like "Gladiator" or "The Expendables" may help a man who's lost the edge. And by edge we don't mean business or parenting edge.
That's right- if your man has been neglectful and downright uninterested in you,
then it's time to bring in the action movies.
These types of movies help guys increase testosterone, (the male sex hormone)
and the more Testosterone in his system,
the more beneficial it might be to you (the spouse
or girlfriend)...
So, if "he's not that into you" see if Sylvester Stallone or Jason Statham can helpyour situation.

That's it- and if you want more tips like these, head to Amazon.com/the kindle store and download a copy
of Will and Kate- The Love Rxs For A Divorce-Proof
Marriage. see title at right.
Act now and learn which movie can help you
solve nagging issues and which movie can help
both men and women get in the mood.

Good Luck!

Horror Movie's Rx For Women Over Fifty!

                              Fabulous and Over Fifty!

Are you familiar with the Stephen King book- "Carrie?"
Well, it was first released about 37 yrs. ago and it's set
to be released again.

This time around, the mom will be played by Julianne Moore.
What's so unusual about that?
Nothing really, but Ms. Moore is over 50 and she looks 15 yrs.
younger and she's playing a mom to a 16 yr.

So, are you curious? Curious as to how Ms. Moore looks a good
decade and a half than her actual age, continue reading to find out.
a) Exercise-
Ms. Moore practices Ashtanga yoga, lifts light weights and runs a
few times a week. (to build bone health). One no- no exercise for Ms. Moore...
Spinning. She didn't like the enclosed area and all of the yelling.
b) Diet-
Ms. Moore doesn't have a real diet plan, but she makes it a
point to eat a number of colorful vegetables each day.
Another thing she does before a big event (Red Carpet event)
she drinks juices (detoxes for a day or two).
c) Have a Treat-
As the mom of 2 kids, Ms. Moore doesn't insist her kids eat
what she eats. In fact, if they want cookies, she'll allow them to eat
a few and she'll join them. Ms. Moore is making the right decision,

having a few cookies or 2 to 3 brownies on the weekend, is a way to
keep bingeing at bay. Deny yourself day after day only leads to all-day
bingeing.
d) Watch The Sun-
As a pale-skinned woman, Ms. Moore must watch the Sun.
It may make sense for her, but sitting in the Sun for 15 to 20 mins.
without sunscreen is a great way to get vitamin D.

And that extra vitamin D will help you avoid breast cancer and
build up your immune system.

So, if you go the theater to catch "Carrie" make sure to really watch
Julianne Moore, the star who's saying no thanks to lifts, tucks,
lasers and botox.

Good Luck!

Jamie Lee Curtis' Rx For Your Best Summer Ever!

                            Eat Yogurt This Summer!

Have you seen the Jamie Lee Curtis commercial pushing
Yogurt? You can't miss it, it's on every 10 minutes.
And if you haven't been moved to buy yogurt even after
Jamie Lee touts its benefits, you may be after reading this.

Yogurt can help with 2 things that affect a lot of women,
especially during the Summer, what are they?
Bloating and red faces from the Summer sun.
And if you're affected by one or both, then you need to continue
reading, first the "poochy" stomachs...

A good quality,  Greek yogurt (plain) has more healthy fats and

twice the amount of protein as regular yogurt, and the fats and protein
in yogurt jumpstarts the body tissues to let go of those trapped fluids.
Plus, the probiotics in Greek yogurt can turn down the production of
gas in as little as 3 days.

And now on to the Red faces...

Mix up some plain yogurt, (1/4 cup) with a tbs. or two of aloe vera
gel and a tbs. or two of wheat grass, sit back and apply to the areas
where you see redness. Leave alone for 10 mins. and then rinse off
with water.
And one last thing, this remedy is for a mild case of redness,
don't overdo it and apply this mask. If you sat out in the Sun
for too long, it may require medical attention.

That's it- 2 tips from the former "Scream teen" Jamie Lee Curtis. (Halloween)

Good Luck!

Hollywood's Rx For Better Relationships!

                      Let Hollywood Improve Your Relationship!

Hollywood isn't a place one thinks of when it comes to long-lasting
relationships. But wait, Hollywood can help, how?
Watching certain movies can trigger changes in your brain that can
help you feel more romantic, more loving and more open.

So, look below for the movies and make your relationship even better.

a) To Feel Less Stress-
Let's face it, bills, fixing meals and keeping up the household
is stress-filled, and to help you lower your stress levels,
watch a comedy. Watching comedies together triggers the release
of dopamine, which helps you feel less stress and more unified.
Comedies to watch- It's up to you, but why not watch Wedding Crashers,
Caddyshack or The Hangover.
b) To Feel Closer-
Wish your spouse was more open or willing to share certain things?
Grab a romantic movie like The Way We Were or The Bridges of Madison
County. Watching romantic movies helps both partners feel more secure
and connected.
c) To Feel Sentimental-
Even though you have kids and much more responsibility, you like to get
sentimental and think about the carefree days.
To help you feel more sentimental- think of a movie like Miracle on 34th
Street or A Christmas Story. Watching these types of movies helps
couples create traditions and they help you remember the "good old
days."
d) To Help Out The Men-
As men get older-their levels of testosterone drop, and to help them feel
more romantic and ready to go-rent or go to a movie like The Last Stand
or Gladiator. Men who watch these types of movies experience a 25%
increase in testosterone-the hormone responsible for lust and libido.
e) Something For The Ladies-
Ladies, you may need help at some point as well, and no it's not
Sex In The City that's going to boost your desire.
The movie that does it for a lot of ladies are horror movies.
Not the gory, violent and blood-filled movies, but movies like
Resurrection or The Blair Witch Project.
Ladies who watch a horror movie/thriller get a boost in adrenaline,

a hormone that make you feel excited and more passionate.
f) To Solve Problems-
Need help with constant arguing? Or unable to decide which parent to

visit during the holidays? Then you need to watch movies like Date Night
or Something To Talk About. Seeing couples struggle with issues similar
to yours can drum up conversation. And seeing how a Hollywood couple
deals with their issues- may very well help you deal with a problem affecting
both of you.

That's it- And who said nothing good comes from Hollywood?
They certainly weren't talking about relationships.

Good Luck!
