The Malibu Beach Rx For Beautiful Hair Waves!

The PBW:
Mist dry hair with a wave spray (try one like Marc Anthony Dream
Waves Beach Spray). find it at beauty supply stores.
And then- after spraying in your wave spray-section and lightly twist hair
into 4 to 6 coils. Hold a hair dryer over the coils for 5 to 10 mins.
This will quickly set the wave pattern  and help the spray dry up.
And lastly, release the coils and using your fingers roll out those
beautiful Malibu waves.

Hollywood's Rx For Late Night Snacking!

                           Eat Less At Night! 

Some Hollywood stars are just like you, they also have to watch what
they eat and some have food cravings that get the best of them. 

If you find yourself eating that bowl of ice cream at 10:00 pm 
or later, or that bowl of chili at 9:00 pm, then you may have to use
a smaller utensil.

A smaller utensil? Yes, according to new research- using a spoon
fit for a baby or a spoon you use to measure a liquid for baking
may be the best way to fight those cravings.
Small bites make you chew and swallow more often, so fullness
signals reach the brain sooner to shut down your appetite.

So, next time you want some ice cream or a bowl of popcorn,
(yes popcorn) break out the baby-sized spoon.
And if your snack of choice is potato chips-this tip may not work.

Easy Trick To Make Legs Look Longer!

                                        Making Your Legs Look Longer! 

Are your legs on the short side? Wish you had legs like Giselle Bundchen or
Elle MacPherson?
Well, we can't guarantee that you'll look like a supermodel, but this trick
will help you look a little taller.

The tip:
Wear pointy-toed shoes with slingbacks and a low to high heel.
The slingback design draws the eye up and down to lengthen
the lines of your legs.

That's it- No wearing "super" high heels and no leg breaking
and then resetting the bones, just pointy-toed shoes.

Sport Illustrated's Rx For A Lean and Toned Body!

                               Get Fit Like A Swimsuit Model! 

Are you a fan of the "supermodel" edition of Sports Illustrated? 

Apparently, a lot of people are and one of the models who graced the cover
spills her simple diet secrets, that will work for any woman, man or teenager.

The "Supermodel" is Marisa Miller, and she was discovered on a beach. 

Ms. Miller is what you call "healthy looking" and she prefers her body, 
to that of the stick-pin figures you usually see.
So, how does Ms. Miller keep her body in tip-top shape?

a) She eats in the nude. It's safe to say, she probably doesn't dine out a 
lot. Ms. Miller says seeing yourself totally nude and eating while nude, 
makes you more aware of what you put into your body.
You can also see your stomach expanding and getting uncomfortable as well. 

This tip may work for a couple, a couple who doesn't have kids.
b) She prepares ahead of time. She keeps a few servings of brown rice
or quinoa (to learn more about quinoa, go to Supermarkets@typepad.com
and look for Dr. Oz's Rx for a super grain). She'll take out some rice
and stir-fry some rice along with a few vegetables.
c) Want a snack eat a snack- Ms. Miller had a hard time avoiding
all of the fattening snacks at Whole Foods, but then she saw cookies,
or pie slices wrapped individually. She decided, why try to fight it, 

she'll buy a few cookies or a slice of cake and eat only one serving at a time,
and thoroughly enjoy it. Put the rest of the goodies in the freezer, and take out
one cookie or one cupcake.
d) Give In...Sometimes- Marissa gained weight in the beginning of her
relationship to her now husband, he likes beef, beer and big slabs
of cake. Ms. Miller knew she couldn't keep up that pace, so now,
she sets aside a day in which she and her husband will go out for
steak, onion rings and a pitcher of beer. She says "That since I
eat well 90% of the time, I could splurge on cake or an 8 oz. steak
10% of the time."

That's it- some simple tricks from a top swimsuit model to help 

you look swimsuit ready all yr. round.
