A Model's Smoothie Rx For The New Year!

                                A Smoothie For Improved Health! 

Supermodel Christie Brinkley has been all over the news the past few yrs.
telling any and everyone how she manages to look so good for someone
over the age of 60. 


She told us about her diet, (a vegetarian diet) her exercise regime, (yoga
and walking on the beach) her hair extensions, and how she exfoliates, 

(to keep her skin youthful). 
Well now, there's more, Ms. Brinkley has revealed her remedy for all-day
energy and to control appetite. 

What's her secret?
It's a smoothie. 


Yes, the same thing soccer star and sexiest man alive David Beckham 

swears by, and if you want to take after Ms. Brinkley and have a smoothie 
2, 4 or even 7 days a week, the recipe is listed below. 
The Christie Brinkley Green Energy Drink....
Put 1 cup of kale (cleaned and chopped) into a juicer or blender
along with 1/4 cup of avocado, the juice from 1 orange, the juice from 1/2 lime, 

6 ice cubes and 1/2 cup of coconut water.
Blend until smooth and drink up.
Antioxidants in the kale and citrus juices provide you with fast fuel for
your tired out cells and the coconut water and the fat from an avocado
prod your body to burn fat which also boosts energy levels. 


And lastly, Ms. Brinkley also says this smoothie helps get rid of
belly fat and love handles.
So, if you're not that into breakfast in the morning or you want to pass
on the burger, chips and candy during the afternoon hours, have this 

green smoothie instead and hopefully, you too, can look and feel as youthful as 
Ms. Brinkley.

Former Model's Rx For Younger Eyes!

                            Shape Your Brows! 
Soon to be former model,  Cara Delevingne, (yes former, she said she's 

finished with modeling) has eyebrows that remind you of a young Brooke Shields,
and unlike a lot of women, Ms. Delevingne isn't hiding them or embarrassed by 

her thick brows.

You see, most women with brows this thick pluck or run to a stylist to do something 

about them, but not Cara, she's proud of them and plans on keeping them.

Talk Show Host's Rx For Great Skin!

                        Get Great Skin Like The Queen! 

Queen Latifah's talk show is doing well in the ratings.
She did a different type of talk show about 12 yrs. ago and it
only lasted one season. 

If you're a fan of the Queen and watch her show regularly, then
you must notice her flawless skin.
Kym Douglas, a beauty expert who uses foods and beverages as facial
masks, moiturizers and cleansers-asked Queen Latifah her secret for great
looking skin.
Her reply: Baking Soda.
That's right, we've posted a few healing methods using the 99 cent box
of awesomeness, and now-Queen Latifah has revealed that it's the same thing
she uses to turn back the clock.
And how does she use it? As an exfoliant.

You may know about the importance of exfoliating from reading this blog
and from Christie Brinkley.
Ms. Brinkley thinks that starting to exfoliate yrs. ago, allows her to look 

20 to 25 yrs. younger now. (she just turned 60)
And if you're at an age where your skin is still taut and youthful, use the
following trick that Queen Latifah uses...
Pour about 1/4 cup of baking soda into a bowl, add just enough water to make
a paste, and while in the shower or over the sink, massage the water and B.S.
into your clean, slightly damp skin.
Massage it into your forehead, cheeks, your neck and if there's any leftover--

massage some into the top parts of your hand. (They need exfoliating too)
After you finish massaging, rinse off the excess B.S. pat your face dry
and apply your moisturizer.

One woman found about this exfoliating treatment and used it 3 times
in one week, and when she went out with friends on the weekend, they
accused of her of having some type of treatment, (a facelift or a laser peel)/

Christie Brinkley's Rx For Better Bone Health!

             Build Strong Bones Like Christie! 

Christie Brinkley has been all over the news this past week, why?
She turned 60. Just like Oprah and Howard Stern.
Of course the media wants to know how Ms. Brinkley continues
to look 20 to 25 yrs, younger.
She gives the usual answers...exercise, (dancing) eating right
(Vegetarianism) but there are some things she's forgetting to mention,
like...Exfoliating and keeping a few extra pounds on her frame.

That's right- an expert in the field of aging, says to look a few yrs.
younger,  some women should consider keeping an extra 10 or 15 lbs.
on their frames.

He says that it's especially important to white women, who start to
wrinkle a lot earlier than their Asian, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, 

Polynesian and African sisters.
And an extra 10 or 15 pounds can also benefit your bone health.
Again, that's another topic the media will not discuss with
Ms. Brinkley, but it's important none-the-less.
And one woman who is concerned about it, should talk to Ms.
Brinkley about her breakfast choices and she too, can really
develop strong bones.

The just turned 50, "first lady" Michelle Obama.
And what food does Christie eat that develops
and keeps bones strong.
Yogurt, not any yogurt, but yogurt made with sheep's milk.
