Hollywood's Secret Weapon For Red Carpet Skin!

                                         Get a Glowing Complexion!
If you thought the "Oscars" was the last award show for the year, think again.
Oh no- there's the "Kid's Choice Awards" The "Tony's" and  the
"MTV movie awards, " and with the yearly, non-stop award shows-
many stars have to be at their best, their youthful-looking best.

And how do they maintain this unending array of youthfulness?
With cosmetic surgery? Maybe. Endless hrs. walking and doing yoga? Perhaps.
Or is it a strict diet of fish, greens and low-sugar fruits?
Yes, this is the secret for some and for other stars--their secret is a smoothie.

That's right, stars like David Beckham, Vanessa Hudgens, Miranda Kerr and Blake Lively,
all prefer to drink their way to youthfulness and beauty, and if you want to copy
their way of fighting the aging process, just look below for a youth-enhancing

smoothie.

The smoothie recipe for a youthful and glowing complexion....
Ingredients:
1 cup of pineapple- cubed, frozen or fresh.
1/2 cup of carrots, slightly cooked.*
2 Tbs. fresh lemon juice
1 Tbs. goji berries
1 cup of Boston lettuce
5 to 6 ice cubes.
Place all of the ingredients into a juicer or blender and blend until smooth.
* Cooked carrots are better for you and have way more nutrients.
That's it, and feel free to add some other "good for your complexion"

fruits and vegetables like...cucumbers, kiwi, apples, cantaloupe,
sweet potatoes, (cook until it's soft) and kale.
Also important: It's important to make sure the rest of your diet is
up to par and will complement your complexion. You can't
have a smoothie in the morning and then binge on fried chicken,

pizza, snicker bars, Ben and Jerry's and margaritas and expect to look your
stunning best.

And one last tip-- If weight is an issue and you want some recipes for smoothies
(that personally target belly fat) head on over to Amazon.com/the kindle store
and type The Smoothies, Shakes, Coffee and Tea Rxs For A Flatter Belly
 in the search bar.

Download it and get started on a new body that will be ready to
be unveiled Memorial Day 2016.

Good Luck!

A Model's Smoothie Rx For The New Year!

                                A Smoothie For Improved Health!

Supermodel Christie Brinkley has been all over the news the past few yrs.
telling any and everyone how she manages to look so good for someone
over the age of 60.

She told us about her diet, (a vegetarian diet) her exercise regime, (yoga
and walking on the beach) her hair extensions, and how she exfoliates,

(to keep her skin youthful).
Well now, there's more, Ms. Brinkley has revealed her remedy for all-day
energy and to control appetite.

What's her secret?
It's a smoothie.

Yes, the same thing soccer star and sexiest man alive David Beckham

swears by, and if you want to take after Ms. Brinkley and have a smoothie
2, 4 or even 7 days a week, the recipe is listed below.
The Christie Brinkley Green Energy Drink....
Put 1 cup of kale (cleaned and chopped) into a juicer or blender
along with 1/4 cup of avocado, the juice from 1 orange, the juice from 1/2 lime,

6 ice cubes and 1/2 cup of coconut water.
Blend until smooth and drink up.
Antioxidants in the kale and citrus juices provide you with fast fuel for
your tired out cells and the coconut water and the fat from an avocado
prod your body to burn fat which also boosts energy levels.

And lastly, Ms. Brinkley also says this smoothie helps get rid of
belly fat and love handles.
So, if you're not that into breakfast in the morning or you want to pass
on the burger, chips and candy during the afternoon hours, have this

green smoothie instead and hopefully, you too, can look and feel as youthful as
Ms. Brinkley.

And if you want more great tips from Christie Brinkley on health and longevity,
head to your supermarket or local pharmacy and pick up a copy of this month's
"First For Women" It should be on newsstands for another week.

Good Luck!

Hollywood's Green Rx For A Healthier Smoothie!

                               Drink This Not That!

Hollywood can't take all of the credit for the current "smoothie" craze.
Smoothies have been around for about 2 decades now, but they're
much more prevalent thanks to a number of Hollywood stars.
(Especially David Beckham, who has a green smoothie almost everyday).

And if you're one who likes to have smoothies a few times a week,
you may want to take notice of this new danger in regards to the liquid
health meal.
What's the danger?
According to new research, too many smoothies (or salads) with raw kale
can cause a number of health issues.
That's right, it (kale) is considered a goitrogenic food and simply put,
this means it can enlarge your thyroid gland.
And not just kale, all cruciferous foods can cause this, foods like...

cabbage, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, watercress, arugula,
collard, turnip and mustard greens.
Plus, having too many of these foods raw can also cause belly bloat and

stomach discomfort.
So, do you give up all of these healthy vegetables?

No, just have them raw every once in a while and steam or stir-fry--
if you plan on eating or juicing them on a regular basis.

That's it- for today.

And make sure to keep you and your loved ones  cool during these times of
unbearable and oppressive weather conditions.

Good Luck!
