Hollywood's Date Night Food Rx Just For Women!

                        Prevent Breast Cancer!

Ladies, what's a popular food that's eaten in Hollywood, but
not eaten in say--Kansas, Iowa or Missouri?
If you guessed sushi, give yourself a pat on the back.
And if you or someone close to you wants to lower your odds
of ever getting breast cancer, then you should start eating
sushi like the women of Hollywood.
Well, not really the sushi, but the seaweed wrap that holds
the sushi.

Yes, the seaweed wrap is actually called Nori and it actually
lowers your levels of troublemaking types of estrogen that can
cause breast cancer.
And if you will not any type of fish, (sushi) or seaweed,
(those of you in Kansas, Iowan & Missouri) you can
lower your odds by eating All-American foods like...
sweet potatoes, butternut squash, apricots, carrots,

papaya and flaxseeds.

And one last thing, if breast cancer runs in your family,
new research says that you can really lower your odds
of ever getting it by getting more melatonin.
Yes, it's the hormone that'll help you sleep longer,
but today, it's helping those who want to lower their odds of
getting B.C.
One last tip: Talk to your doctor before trying this,
melatonin is a hormone. And you do not want to mess around
with hormones.

Good Luck!

Hollywood's Date Night Rx To Boost Energy!

                   Boost Energy Levels!

Ladies, does your energy run out about 6 or 7 in the evening?
Well, it could be a problem with your thyroid.
The thyroid determines how long your metabolism stays
high before dipping for the night, so when your thyroid
stalls, you feel more and more run down starting about
6:00 pm.

So, how do get your energy levels up?
You can do what a lot of Hollywood stars do, what is that?
Eat Sushi!
It's a popular food choice in Hollywood, but in Athens
Georgia, not so popular.
But, that's okay, you don't have to eat sushi, just the wrap that
covers the sushi.

That's right--it's actually the seaweed wrap that contains the iodine,
which your thyroid needs to function at its optimal best.
Look for seaweed wraps at Asian stores and use it to wrap
beef, chicken or fish. Think of it as a seaweed taco.

Another option: Look for some powdered kelp and sprinkle
it on stir-fries, stews, salads or meat dishes.
Also helpful: don't fill up on chips, ice cream, candy or

fast food late into the night. These types of foods not only
ruin waistlines, they also drain your energy levels.

And for those who need a quick energy boost, but want something
more natural, do the following exercise.
Sit in a chair, lift your head, pulling your shoulders back and smile.
Yes smiling, doing this move is based on Alternative Asian medicine
and it's been around for about 5,000 yrs.
And it works because you improve your posture and put an upbeat
expression on your face and together, it releases energizing
neurotransmitters.

That's it- 2 simple tips to boost nighttime energy levels.

Good Luck!

Hollywood's Date Night Rx For Better Brain Health!

                             Erase Brain Fog!

Do you forget where you left your keys from time to time?
Or do buy a cup of coffee, leave it on the roof of the car
and then drive off?

If you do this from time to time, don't panic, we all do it and it
may be Brain fog.
To get over your mental lapses, you might want to add a food
that's as popular in Hollywood as pizza is in Chicago.

The Food: Nori!
It's the paper that surrounds the popular dish called sushi and
 it's made of seaweed.
Getting sushi is quite popular in Hollywood, but not in the rest of
the country and that's unfortunate, especially if you suffer from brain fog.

Why sushi to end brain fog?
Well, it's the paper that holds the sushi and it has high concentrations
of omega-3's-healthy fats that boost nerve communication to improve
mental speed and clarity. Nori, also contains vitamin B 12, which you need
for cognitive function, concentration and memory.

That's it- a simple remedy to end brain fog, and if you're not into sushi,
that's okay-head to a Trader Joe's or an Asian food store and buy some
Nori. Eat it plain or cut it into strips and add to salads or soup.

Good Luck!

Hollywood's Food Rx For Women's Health!

Eat This To Reduce Breast Cancers Rates!

In Hollywood date night is usually different than say- date night
in Topeka Kansas or Sandy Utah. Different how?
People in Hollywood go out and have sushi, and in Sandy Utah or
Topeka Kansas, the date night bite might be a burger and fries
or chili.

But the folks in Utah and Kansas may want to switch and
be more like the folks in Hollywood and have sushi.
Well, the women anyway, why?
You'll lower breast cancer rates.

Eating sushi, mainly the nori, (which is the seaweed roll that
acts as the shell) flushes out tissue-damaging estrogens, blocking
the growth of new breast cancers and shutting down the formation
of precancerous cells. Seaweed is rich in beta-carotene and lignans,
both of which prevent the growth of cancer cells.

That's it- A food Rx for women concerned about the no. 1 feared
cancer. And if you're not willing to eat or don't like seaweed, just add
more sweet potatoes, carrots, acorn squash and flaxseed to your diet.
Orange foods contain beta-carotene and flaxseed is rich in lignans.
And one more tip: If you like rice in your sushi roll, you may want to avoid
it from now on, why? Rice (especially white) contains arsenic,
and if you eat sushi on a regular basis, you may be ingesting too much arsenic.

Good Luck!
