Juice This, Not That!
If your New Year's resolution was to juice more like some Hollywood
stars, make sure to juice properly.
Juice properly? What does that mean?
Make sure that if you add- kale, broccoli and other greens,
you steam or boil them first.
Steam or boil before juicing, say what?
That's right, a number of women (and some men) are going "petal to the metal"
in regards to juicing and some are now complaining of weight gain.
Weight gain from juicing? Yes.
And the reason for it is simple--you see too many raw veggies like broccoli,
cauliflower, kale and collard greens hinder the thyroid's ability to
absorb iodine, a nutrient needed to keep the metabolism working at
optimal levels. And without your metabolism working at top levels,
weight gain is sure to follow.
So, remember the tip about steaming and boiling (for a few mins. only)
the cruciferous vegetables, like broccoli, cauliflower, collard greens,
Brussels sprouts, cabbage and kale.
And one last tip, invest in iodine-rich seaweed (yes seaweed) it's a great food (juice)
addition, that'll also increase your iodine levels.
Do this for a week or two and see if weight gain becomes automatic again
and energy levels increase.
That's it, for now.
And one last thing, look for our next E-Document, Frozen Beauty,
it'll reveal over 100 ways to fight Winter beauty mishaps, like...
*dry and cracked nails
* brittle hair
* hat hair
* flyaway hair
*dry and scaly skin
* Rosecea
* Eczema
* Itchy Underarms
Plus many more beauty problems.
