Extra's Rx For A Great Summer Body!

                                Eat Like Maria!

The T.V. show "Extra" that's all about celebrities,
features the lovely and talented Maria Menounos
and the handsome, fit and talented Mario Lopez.
Although both hosts care about their health and fitness, Maria
has a tougher time of it.

How so?
She's a Boston native, who grew up loving pizza, doughnuts and
other fried foods and as a result she carried an "extra" 40 pounds on
her 5' 8" frame.
But that was way back about 17 yrs. ago, today- she's a fit and vibrant
T.V personality who's about to turn 39.
And as a gift to her fans, Maria has penned a book, telling you how you
too, can lose the weight and keep it off.

One of her secrets: Follow the 80/20 rule.

What is that? Eat well, 80% or the time and the other 20%, eat what
you want. A bowl of mac and cheese, a hot dog (or two) a couple
doughnuts from Dunkin Donuts or a big, juicy bacon cheeseburger.
Following this type of diet not only makes it easier for you to lose weight,

but also makes it easier to maintain weight as well.
Some other 80/20 followers: Terry Crews and The Rock.

So, if you've been struggling with weight for months or even yrs.
do like Maria, Terry and The Rock, and go Mon. thru Friday,
with lean meats, fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, olive oil, Quinoa, and
air-popped popcorn and then on Sat. and Sun. let loose and
have what you want, in moderation, no going overboard and eating
the whole weekend long. Doing that only makes it hard to keep
the weight off, plus- you'll also feel like Sh*&^T.

Oh, and if you want to read more on this, look for Maria's new book:

"The Every Girl's Guide To Diet and Fitness" available online
at Amazon.com. Also look for "The Naturally Thin Girl's Guide
To Preventing Winter Weight Gain, also available at Amazon.com/
in the Kindle store.

Good Luck!

Kelly Clarkson's Diet Rx For Valentine's Day!

                       Eat Greek For More Love!

Kelly Clarkson, the first American Idol winner and best selling artist
is getting married soon. Ms. Clarkson, like Jennifer Aniston and
Maria Menounos is of Greek descent.
And also like Jennifer Aniston and Maria Menounos, Kelly Clarkson
has struggled with weight.
Luckily, there's some good news...if Kelly Clarkson follows the diet of
her ancestors, not only will she lower heart attack and stroke risk,
she'll also maintain her weight and best of all, boost her sex drive
and libido.

That's right- the Mediterranean diet has been in the news for about
a decade as a way to stave off a host of health problems, and today-
the researchers say it can also do great things for those suffering from

a low or absent libido.
Give credit to the diet's emphasis on fruits, vegetables, goat milk, Greek
yogurt, herbs, whole grains, dark honey, nuts, seeds and olive oil,
all of which boost circulation and remove inflammation-making it easier
for blood to flow.  Especially blood flow to the "below-the-belt" regions.

And also important- you must eliminate or eat only once in a while-
a sugary beverage or dessert, white flour, processed meats (ham and bologna),

charcoaled meats, high fructose treats and trans-fats.

That's it- And if Ms. Clarkson does follow the diet of her homeland,
she'll enjoy a long, successful and very happy marriage.

Good Luck!
