The First Lady's Birthday Rx For Women!

                         Build Strong Bones Like Michelle!

This week's edition of "People" magazine features the
first lady, Michelle Obama.
The interview is mostly about the first lady turning 50.
More importantly, how she's dealing with it and how she's

going to deal with aging in the future.

One thing the first lady is concerned about- is bone health.
That's right- the first lady wants to do everything in her power
to avoid fractures, especially hip fractures.
She's smart to exercise, exercises like dancing, working in the
garden and weightlifting.

But she can do more to protect her bones.
What type of things?
She can eat certain foods, foods like...
a) Brussels sprouts, (especially good for keeping hips strong)
b) Plums (fresh and dried plums which are prunes)
c) Tomatoes- especially cooked.
d) Alcohol- a beer or a shot of vodka a few times a week.
Overdo the alcohol and you risk a fracture and alcoholism.
e) Swiss Chard- Find it at supermarkets or Farmer's markets.
Clean it and add it to a veggie stir-fry.
f) Cheese- More specifically the cheese that's popular in
Sicily and Tuscany. What type of cheese is it? Pecorino.
Researchers think that it's better for your bones because it's
made with sheep's milk.
g) Mustard- And you thought it only made hot dogs and sandwiches
taste better, it also helps keep bones strong.
h) Dark Chocolate-
Is there no end to the incredible benefits one can get from this
incredible food? Buy (real) dark chocolate or buy a top quality
cocoa.

That's it- The food Rxs that'll help women like the first lady,
Michelle Obama, or you, regular Jane in Lima Ohio- keep your bones
strong and fracture-free.

Michelle Obama's Rx For Growing Out Bangs!

Easy Tip For Growing Out Bangs!

Michelle Obama's new hairdo is all the rage. What type of hairstyle does
the First lady have? She now has bangs.
If you already have bangs but hate the "grow out" stage-try this simple trick...
Mist in a little volumizing spray at the roots, then use a round brush as you blow-dry
the bangs back and away from your face. Keep in place with a few bobby pins at
the crown.
You should end  up with some serious volume at the crown that looks stylish while you
grow out your bangs.
Volumizing spray to try- Jason Natural Kiwi & Apricot Root Boost, find it online at
Jason-Natural.com.

After growing out your bangs- why not send a picture of yourself and your bangs
to the First lady-(on her Twitter account) she welcomes all photos.

Good Luck!

The White House Rx To Prevent Alzheimer's!

Drink a Beer Like The President!

President Obama is running for reelection come November.
It may or may not happen, one thing that's happening regardless
of his reelection: his love of beer.
It was just revealed that Pres. Obama loves beer so much,
that he has people not only make for him, but they come with
their own recipes for the golden elixir.

President Obama may be doing a lot of things wrong, but having

a beer every night is something that's certainly right.
Right in a number of ways, like...
building strong bones,
prevent hair from thinning
keep immunity levels up
preventing Alzheimer's
That's right- the disease a lot of us fear as the yrs. go by
can be prevented with a glass of beer, a shot, or a glass of wine

a day.

Alcohol to prevent forgetfulness?
Yes, alcohol can actually improve blood flow to the brain and
prevent harmful plaque from sticking to your brain.

So, if you're of age, and whether you're a Democrat, Republican
or Independent, remember- 'a beer a day, keeps Alzheimer's away.
And also important- make it only one a day, any more and you'll have
a lot
more than Alzheimer's to worry about.

Good Luck!
