T.V. Doctor's Rx For Turning Back The Clock!

                          Wearing Wine To Look Younger!

If you're watching "The Today's Show's" series on making it to 100,

then you already know that Dr. Oz was on this morning giving his 7 tips
for making it to the century mark.
No offense to the good doctor, but his tips have been given out and recycled
for about 15 yrs. now.
What were they?
Go to bed earlier
exercising for 10 to 20 minutes is quite alright.
stand and balance on one leg for 30 secs. each day (to prevent falls later on in life)
eat purple foods, eggplant, plums, concord grapes and blueberries.
And drink some of the purple as well. As in wine.
But hold on, what if some members out watching don't drink?
That's okay, how about wearing some wine.
Wearing wine?
Yes, and if you start wearing it, you'll be just like former "Desperate Housewife"
Terry Hatcher.

It's rumored that Ms. Hatcher likes to pour some wine into her bath water
and relax for 15 to 20 mins.
And if you really want to turn back the clock, use some of that wine to make a
facial. Yes, a facial.

A facial penetrates your face to directly deliver major antioxidants to it.
And  since these antioxidants are absorbed,  they go to work  repairing damage
and protecting your skin against pollution and the Sun's rays, leaving it smoother
and with fewer fine lines.

To make your wine-face masque, you'll need wine, (any red wine will do)
honey and plain yogurt.
1/4 cup of wine, 1 Tbs. dark honey and plain yogurt 1 cup.

Mix together in a bowl.
Take a clean washcloth, and run it under warm water.
Lie back and place the washcloth over your face.
Leave it on for 30 secs. and then remove it.
Lay back in a comfortable chair and place the wine masque on your whole face
and neck. Leave on for 15 mins. and then rinse off with warm water.
Important tip:
Do this on your day off or on the weekend as some redness may occur.
Do this once or twice a wk. just until you get the results you want and
then once a week or once every 2 wks for maintenance.

Good Luck!

And one last tip-- If you have any chocolate, an Easter bunny or
a few candy bar leftover from this past Sunday, hold onto
them and eat a small amount each day.
Doing this will improve your health in ways you never thought possible.

In fact, one woman was so bogged down with stress and fatigue, she
thought the only way to overcome it was to take medication.
But luckily, a friend told her to eat some dark chocolate each day
and see if it made a difference.
Long story short, it (chocolate) worked, she didn't need the medication.
And if you want to know how dark choc. can help you prevent
and overcome a host of health problems, head to Amazon.com/the kindle store
and download, see title to the right...

Hollywood's Rx For A Valentine's Day Beverage!

50 Shades of a Great Adult Beverage!

The much awaited movie "50 Shades of Grey is finally in theaters and
Valentine's day is a week away.
For some this will be a great time to enjoy some great food and

great beverages. Adult beverages.

And we're not talking the usual white wine spritzers or red wine
or shots of tequila, no- you want something that'll help you celebrate
the love that's Feb. 14.
And the drink that'll help you achieve that: A Chocolate Truffle Martini!
Yes, you're reading it right, chocolate and alcohol combined.
Either one alone will boost health, but together...now you'll really
experience some incredible benefits.

What types of benefits?
a) More Passion-
Alcohol and dark chocolate enhance libido and sexual function.
How? By keeping arteries and veins free of plaque, allowing for better
blood flow, especially blood flow to sex organs.
b) Reduced Risk of Heart Disease-
The recent news of the increase in heart attacks for women has a lot of people

scared and one good way to reduce those fears...eat or drink dark choc. (cocoa)
or have a drink (only 1) a day. See tip a, about clearing the plaque from veins and

arteries.
c) Reduced Stroke Risk-
Another health issue more women should be thinking about.
Especially women under 40.
d) A Longer Life-
Due to the reduction in heart disease and stroke risks, both choc.

and alcohol may help you live an extra 3, 5 or even 10 years.

Now on to the adult beverage.
The recipe:
On a plate, spread a thin layer of choc. sprinkles. Lightly coat rim of
a martini glass with choc. syrup; dip into sprinkles. Fill cocktail shaker
with ice cubes; add 1/4 cup choc. vodka, (find it at high end package stores)
1/4 cup half and half, 2 Tbs. Kahlua and 1 Tbs. choc. syrup. Cover--
shake vigorously for 20 to 30 secs. Strain into glass and for a visual effect,
place a gumdrop (red) or a strawberry on the end of a stirrer, and place it
across the drink or inside.
This is enough for 1 serving, for 2 or more servings, just follow the recipe again.

That's it, and if you need more health or (sex) tips, inspiration or recipes (for adult beverages)

Oprah's Spa Rx To Look Younger!

Look Younger With A Spa Treatment!

Oprah, like Christie Brinkley and Howard Stern turned
60 this past week.
And Oprah said that she was going to have a party to
end all parties and then, she changes her mind.

Oprah may not be having a big 60th blowout, but she'll
probably continue to indulge in one of her favorite
activities, what is it?
Heading to a Spa.
That's right, when you have Billions in the bank, getting
spa treatments is one of the greatest joys in life.

But what about the rest of us, who are financially challenged?
You can be like Oprah, and do your own version
of an at-home spa treatment.
An at-home spa treatment?
Yes, and get this, this spa treatment may turn back the clock.

That's right- A hot cocoa facial.
Hot cocoa is loaded with antioxidants called flavonols,

and flavonols, can slough off dead skin cells and moisturize
the skin as well, and if you're concerned about dry, flaky
skin this Winter, this is the facial for you.

The Ingredients:
2 tbsp. of cocoa (real cocoa)
2 tbsp. of yogurt )plain)
1 tbsp. of honey
Directions:
Mix all 3 ingredients together and apply to a clean,

dry face and neck. Lie back in a comfortable chair
for 15 to 20 mins.
After the 20 mins. are up, head to the bathroom and rinse

off with warm water and pat your face dry.
Do this once or twice a week.
Or skip the mixing, and look for a product called Montagne
Jeunesse Chocolate Mud Masque, price $3.00, online at

Ulta.com.

That's it- the at-home spa treatment for those who are
challenged...financially. And one more tip- cocoa can be
worn, but make sure to drink some as well, you'll be
doing double-duty to help turn back the clock.

Good Luck!

The First Lady's Birthday Rx For Women!

                         Build Strong Bones Like Michelle!

This week's edition of "People" magazine features the
first lady, Michelle Obama.
The interview is mostly about the first lady turning 50.
More importantly, how she's dealing with it and how she's

going to deal with aging in the future.

One thing the first lady is concerned about- is bone health.
That's right- the first lady wants to do everything in her power
to avoid fractures, especially hip fractures.
She's smart to exercise, exercises like dancing, working in the
garden and weightlifting.

But she can do more to protect her bones.
What type of things?
She can eat certain foods, foods like...
a) Brussels sprouts, (especially good for keeping hips strong)
b) Plums (fresh and dried plums which are prunes)
c) Tomatoes- especially cooked.
d) Alcohol- a beer or a shot of vodka a few times a week.
Overdo the alcohol and you risk a fracture and alcoholism.
e) Swiss Chard- Find it at supermarkets or Farmer's markets.
Clean it and add it to a veggie stir-fry.
f) Cheese- More specifically the cheese that's popular in
Sicily and Tuscany. What type of cheese is it? Pecorino.
Researchers think that it's better for your bones because it's
made with sheep's milk.
g) Mustard- And you thought it only made hot dogs and sandwiches
taste better, it also helps keep bones strong.
h) Dark Chocolate-
Is there no end to the incredible benefits one can get from this
incredible food? Buy (real) dark chocolate or buy a top quality
cocoa.

That's it- The food Rxs that'll help women like the first lady,
Michelle Obama, or you, regular Jane in Lima Ohio- keep your bones
strong and fracture-free.
