Hollywood's Smoothie Rx For Better Looking Legs!

                  Drink Up For Great Legs!

The award season is over in Hollywood, for now.
And to all of the stars who drank their margaritas,
shots of tequila and glasses of champagne, it's time to

get back on the wagon.

The wagon, what wagon?
The healthy smoothie wagon.
That's right- smoothies have taken over in a big way,
in the past, many women had a salad to overcome health issues
like extra weight or a less than perfect complexion, but not
anymore.

Today, it's all about smoothies and juices.

If you're into smoothies and are concerned about baring your
legs this upcoming Summer season, perhaps the 2 smoothies listed
below can help.

Smoothie No. 1-
1/2 cup silken tofu
1/2 cup white cranberry juice
1/3 cup fresh or frozen blue and blackberries
1/4 cup fresh or frozen strawberries and raspberries.
1 tbs. Strawberry preserves (optional)
Blend in a blender or use the nutribullet.
Blend until smooth.
Berries help erase the unsightly veins known as varicose.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Smoothie No. 2-
1/3 cup frozen/ fresh blueberries
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 tbs. chopped Macadamia nuts
2 tbs. maple syrup or agave nectar
1/2 cup of kale and spinach
Place this in your Nutribullet and blend until

smooth.
The greens provide you much needed vitamin K.
If you're deficient in this vitamin, calcium can exit
the exit the bones and coat your veins. This will make it
twice as hard for blood to flow freely and put you at risk
for blood clots and of course-blue and red varicose veins.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
And for those that need more than just a smoothie,
look for Solgar Natural Vitamin-K2 online at LuckyVitamin.com
price-$18 for a 50 day supply.
Always make sure to check with your Dr. before starting any type
of supplement.

Katie Holme's Food Rxs To Boost Grades!

                             Foods That Boost Grades!

Katie Holmes has gone through a lot these past few months,
and let's not forget that she still has to get Suri ready to start
school for the first time.
If you too, have a little one about to start school or a teenager
who has to go back,  send them off with foods that'll help
boost their grades.
The Foods:
a) Eggs-
Make a omelet with organic milk and some chopped up
broccoli. Eggs contain choline- a B vitamin that boosts IQ.
b) Toast-
Make sure to feed them bread made from quinoa, amaranth,
freekeh or millet. All are "ancient grains' and if you're child
is wheat intolerant, these four grains can help them health-wise
and learning-wise. Spread some "natural" peanut butter or almond
butter on the toast.
c) Juice-

Grape or blueberry. Grape or blueberry juice sharpens recall.
Also make sure to feed kids grapes and blueberries.
d) Fish-
Yes, fish is brain food, it's also great for helping kids stay motivated
and focused. Fish increases grey matter in the areas of the brain
involved with mood and learning.
Kids who aren't fans of salmon or sardines, can have tuna (with a bread
mentioned above) and fish sticks (remove the breading).
e) Berries Pt/ 2-
Sprinkle some ground flaxseed over their cereal and finish it off
with some blue, black or raspberries. Flaxseed are brain boosters
and the blue and blackberries help your child develop "super"

memory.

That's it- You may not be able to compete with Katie Holmes
on a lot of levels, but at least your kid(s) can compete with Suri

in the intelligence department.

Good Luck!
