Newly Married Couple's Rx For a Better Brain!

                              Dance Like Kim and Robert!

If you're really a fan of celebrity news then you're probably aware of
the recent celebrity wedding.

The wedding of Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson.
You know- Mr. Herjavec from "Shark Tank"
and Kym Johnson from "Dancing With The Stars"

And according to recent news- men and women
that dance a few times a week can help keep
their brains in tip-top shape and even lower their risk of

getting Alzheimer's by a whopping 30%.

How does dancing help, you ask?
It (dancing) stimulates the release of nerve growth factor , a chemical that
increases your production of new brain cells.
And something more exciting- you can lower your odds even more
(of getting dementia) by listening and exercising to upbeat music.

So, for all of you out there that say "I hate to dance"
perhaps this post and the recent nuptials of Robert and Kym will
help change your mind.
Also important- If you're not a fan of dancing but still want to
prevent Alzheimer's, indoor cycling (or Soul cycling), walking
inside or outdoors for 20 to 30 mins, or even puttering around in the
garden will
help both body and Mind.

Good Luck!

Meryl Streep's Rx To Boost Focus!

Be More Focused Like Meryl Streep!

Do you need to become more observant or focused?
Well, you may need to take up the hobby that Meryl Streep
uses for more focus and being more observant, what is it?
Crocheting!

It's a craft that's practiced by a lot of stars mainly because of the
time they (stars) have to spend on movie and T.V. sets.
And if you're thinking of getting something from your Dr.- like adderall,
you may want to rethink that, and use the natural Rx known as
crocheting.

Why is it effective? Learning a new craft or hobby like
crocheting, dancing or painting triggers the formation of gray
matter in 2 areas of the brain responsible for speeding up how
fast you process visual details, like shapes and colors.

And that's not all- if you're easily stressed or bothered by petty comments
or rude remarks, crocheting or dancing can also work to lower stress levels.
Crocheting or dancing lowers cortisol (the stress hormones) and raises
your levels of serotonin and dopamine (the feel good hormones).

That's it- Now that the holidays are here, you now have a gift idea

for your sister, cousin, aunt or BFF.
Please continue to support this blog, and we'll continue to find,
alternative and healthy alternatives to Dr. prescribed meds and therapies.
Thanks!

Good Luck!
