Good Morning America's Rx To Prevent Weight Gain!

George's Rx For Keeping Weight Off!

In a former post we told you about the healthy habit "Good Morning
America" host has that keeps him fit and trim at age 54.
His habit:
He eats an apple a day.

Called "nature's number one diet pill" the apple if eaten before
a big lunch or dinner, works just like a glass or two of water.
But new research says that to really keeps those pounds at bay,

make sure it's a green apple.

Why green?
It contains significantly more obesity-fighting compounds
than the red apples. Plus, green apples are rich in nutrients
that stimulate the growth of healthy digestive bacteria that prompt
your body to let go of excess fat.

So, if you've been spending money on diet aids, pills, etc. stop it and
take a page out of the George Stephanopoulos playbook
and have an green apple or two a day.

One last thing...
And if you're one who likes an adult beverage this time of yr.
and you like to travel, why not combine the two?
Say what?
That's right, head online to Amazon.com and type
The Best Adult Beverages In The U.S. in the search bar.
Download it and learn some of the favorite adult beverages
your fellow Americans are drinking. And that's not all-
not only will you  learn what people in South Carolina,
or Delaware, or Miami, or Phoenix, or Aspen, or Las Vegas
or N.Y. are drinking, you'll also learn the recipes for these drinks,

so you can make them at home.
See title to the right.

Good Luck!

Bethenny's Rx For A Healthier Summer!

                         Drink Up To Boost Health!

Bethenny Frankel's show is officially over.

Yes, you can still catch reruns, but after the 1st week of Sept.
that's it, no more Bethenny Frankel.

But don't despair, you'll still be able to buy her "skinny girl"

drinks and if you enjoy an alcoholic beverage a few times a week,
make sure to add some fruit to those drinks.
Fruit?

Yes, according to new research, fresh or frozen (not canned)
fruit like strawberries, raspberries or blueberries can really
improve your health.

The researchers think the alcohol enhances the power of
antioxidants in fruit to neutralize harmful molecules linked
to serious diseases and illnesses.
If you're a fan of blueberries, add some to a Daiquiri
and you can...

*flatten your stomach
*stop cravings for fatty food
* Improve brain health and lower your chances of getting
  Alzheimer's and dementia.
--------------------------------------
If you like strawberries, add a few to your Daiquiri and you can...
* Lower your odds of getting breast cancer by a whopping 300%.
This news may be too late for former GMA host- Joan Lunden,
but if you're cancer-free, keep it that way.
* Boost heart health, prevent high blood pressure and hardening
   of the arteries.

Important tip: If you want more of the superfoods that'll
prevent breast cancer, head on over to Amazon.com/the kindle
store, and download...The "Superfoods" that'll prevent Breast Cancer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you like cherries, add them to your Mimosa and you can...

* Sleep like a baby. 7 to 8 hours straight.
* End aches and pains. Especially gout. Inflammation of the big toes.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you like raspberries, add them to a Appletini and you can...
* Rev up metabolism
* Reduce and even get rid of age spots.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's it, and if you or someone close to you makes you feel guilty
about having that daiquiri or mimosa, tell him or her that you're
improving your health.

Good Luck!
