Health Tips For a Top Singer!

                         Live Long Like Ms. Swift!

If you're really into pop culture, then you're well aware of the controversy
surrounding Taylor Swift.
What is it?
Her latest video which was shot in Africa (with the hot Scott Eastwood)
doesn't have any African Americans in it.

Some are placing all of the blame on Taylor Swift, and none on

the writer, creator or director of the video.
Some are calling this a non-issue and some are saying too many people
have too much time on their hands, and then there those that are asking- how many
whites appear in a Nicki Minaj or Kanye West video?

Well, if you're like Ms. Swift and you don't discriminate and you love everyone,
don't buy into this or even respond to it, and if you really want to do your part
and do something about real discrimination, do something about food
discrimination.

Food discrimination, what is that?
There are a wide variety of white foods and black foods out there
that no pays attention to or eats.
Yes, you're reading it right, many people avoid white foods because they
think they're high fat, lack nutritional value or cause heart disease and
other diseases.
Well, that may be true if the white foods are bread, sweets, (donuts, cannolis, etc.)
processed cheese, full-fat milks and deep-fried potatoes.
But there are some good white foods out there, foods like...
hard cheeses, apples, pears, (the insides) cauliflower, white button

mushrooms, egg whites and white beans.
And then there are the black foods, although better than a lot of the "bad"
white foods, people rarely eat or avoid them altogether.
The foods: eggplant, shiitake mushrooms, black beans, black rice and

pasta, grapes, plums and black tea.

So, if you're as kind and loving as Ms. Swift and want to find out
more about the health benefits  of white and black foods, then

you'll get your chance--Sunday. At Amazon.com/the kindle store.
How so? By buying or borrowing, see title to the right.
Read it on your E-reader or phone and prove to
friends and family that you love all foods, just like Ms.

Swift.

Good Luck!

2 Male Stars Rxs For Boosting Your Health!

                           Get Behind Ryan and Brad!

If you're really into pop culture and celebrity news then you may have
already heard about Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling and Bill Maher.
And if you're not a fan of pop culture or celebrity news, you're
probably in the dark.

What's the News?
Brad, Ryan and Bill are trying to put pressure on the discount
chain store--Costco, to treat their chickens and hens more humanely.
Well, not their own chickens, but the places where they get
their chicken and eggs.

Recent reports have stated that Costco is buying eggs and chicken
from places that keep chickens caged for most of the day and then inject
them with antibiotics and other chemicals, hoping to sell more of them.
And yes, we support Mr. Gosling, Mr Pitt and Mr. Maher,  but we (the writers of this blog) would also like you, (the readers) to continue eating eggs.

Why eggs?
Eggs like garlic, wine, dark chocolate, spinach, blueberries
and mushrooms can do almost a dozen things to really bolster your health.
What types of things?
* Build strong bones
Young girls who sit indoors on their Iphones and Ipads are really
at risk for brittle bones in their 30's and 40's. So, getting them to eat more eggs
(right now) can help them avoid fractures and falls later on in life.

* A Beauty Spa in The Refrigerator-
Ever hear of a egg shampoo for your hair? Or a egg white facial mask?
Both parts of the eggs can do more for your beauty, more than expensive
products you find at the drugstore can do.
For skin that's tight as a drum, use the egg yolk on your face, neck and
hands (tops of hands). Leave on for 15 minutes and then wash off with a
mild soap. As for fine lines- use the egg whites. It's the beauty regimen
Deborah Norville (of Inside Edition) has been using for 10 yrs.
Her age: 2 yrs. from 60.
* More Brainpower-
Ever hear of the term "egghead?"
There's a reason for this term, it's true.
Eggs contain all types of nutrients that improve memory,
focus and concentration. And something even more
impressive- Women who are pregnant should eat more
of them if they want to start their little ones on a path to Harvard
or Oxford. Also feed eggs to youngsters when they start eating solid
food, especially the yolks, (it contains the majority of brain-enhancing
nutrients).
* Superman Vision-
Another concern as one gets older: Vision loss.
Keep eyes in tip-top shape by eating more eggs. And again,
make sure it's the yolks. Eat eggs with other eye-enhancing
foods like green beans, plums, green squash, sunflower seeds,
salmon and collard greens. And pass on the sausage, breakfast biscuits,
hash browns, Orange juice, coffee (with 2 tsps. of sugar) and danish.
These types of foods will cause your eyesight to fade away sooner,
much sooner.

So, if you weren't a fan of eggs, (the taste, religious beliefs, concerns
about the treatment of chickens) perhaps this post will help you change your
mind.
And if you want some more benefits on eggs and your health and looks,
head on over to Amazon.com.the kindle store and type--The Easter Bunny
Rxs- Download it and find out more health-enhancing secrets you can get
from a $3.00 dozen of eggs.

Good Luck!

Inside Edition's Rx For Looking Younger!

Look Years Younger With A Bath!

If you've been reading this blog for the past 2 1/2 yrs. then you may
remember a post we did on the host of  "Inside Edition."

The woman who hosts is named Deborah Norville and the post
was on her anti-aging secret.
Her secret: She uses beaten egg whites on her face to look a few yrs.
younger. And that post also included the benefits of eating and using

the yolks to prevent the sagging (the jawline and the neck) of your skin.

Well, fast forward a few yrs. and "Inside Edition" has revealed another
anti-aging tip. This tip doesn't belong to Deborah Norville or Diane
Mcinernery, (the other co-host), it belongs to Rebecca Grant.
Who is she?
She's a die-hard Clippers fan, and sometimes ESPN sports reporter,
and thanks to all of the hoopla surrounding Clippers owner Donald Sterling,
Ms. Grant was filmed during a Clippers game primping her hair and fixing her bra.
What's so unusual about that, you ask?

The people watching (okay men) were taken aback by her va-va voom figure
and good looks. Again, what's so unusual about that?
Ms. Grant  who appeared to be about 25 yrs. of age, recently revealed
she's 20 yrs. older than that.
That's right, the viral goddess is actually 45 yrs. of age.

How is that possible?
She claims a number of things for her youthful looks, like...
a) A Hot Bath- With Epsom Salts.

b) She's a Juicer- Organic fruits and vegetables in the juicer.
c) She Exercises- Nothing sadistic, jumps rope for 10 to 15 mins a day.
If you're wondering about the epsom salt baths,  Epsom is recommended
by Dr. Oz and it contains magnesium, a mineral too many of us
are deficient in.

So, if you want to turn back the clock by 5, 10, or even 15 yrs.
go to Google.com and look up Rebecca Grant and after that,
type benefits of Epsom salt bath in the search bar.

Good Luck!

Inside Edition's Rx To Live Longer!

                          Food Rx From Inside Edition!

Any fans out there- of the T.V. show "Inside Edition?"
The show is a mix of entertainment news and "real news" and
if you watched tonight, they did a segment on the benefits of
certain foods as medicine.

One food they talked about was Chocolate.  The reporter-Diane McInerney,

wanted to know if Chocolate was a really a health food.
The answer of course was yes, but there's a catch, the catch:
It must be chocolate that contains at least 70% cocoa.

As for the benefits, there are too many to list here, but one
that might interest you- it'll help you live longer.
Eating or drinking a few ozs. a day, help keep serious diseases
at bay. Diseases like heart disease, strokes, some cancers,
and Alzheimer's.

So, look for chocolate or cocoa that contains 70% cocoa,
and eat a little or pour some cocoa into a mug, add some hot water

and add a little honey and drink up.

That's it- and if you're a baker and love holiday treats like peanut
brittle, gingersnaps or sugar cookies read how these treats will boost
your health. Go to SupermarketRxs@typepad.com for the answers.

Good Luck!
