Up and Coming Star's Rx For Better Health!

Drink Your Way To Better Health!

If you're a regular here, then you may remember a post or two on

the benefits on having an adult beverage a few times a week.
In fact, Bethenny Frankel (star of The Real Housewives of N. Y.)
has not only shown us how beneficial a drink a day is, she's gotten rich
in the process. (Thanks to her creation of the "Skinny Girl Drinks" line).

Well, fast forward to 2015, and we now have an up and coming star talking about

her love of an adult beverage a few times a week.
The star: Maria Valverde. A native of Spain, she stars in the big budget film,
"Exodus" playing the wife of Moses.
We won't bore you with all of the benefits of having a glass of wine, or a shot

or a beer each day, but here are a few...
* Stronger bones
* Stop hair from thinning
* Disease-proof your heart

* Easier weight management, women who have a drink 5 to 7 days
a wk. weigh less than women who don't drink.
* Sharpen your mind, alcohol prevents plaque from sticking to
artery walls in and around the brain.
Plus, many more benefits.

Ms. Valverde loves a drink called The Hyde Park Swizzle,
(it consists of muddled mint leaves, lime juice, simple syrup, bitters

and gin. But her all-time favorite drink is Champagne, which she only has
occasionally; due to the price.
So, if you were reluctant to have a drink, due to calories, the gluten (malt)
or fear of going overboard, remember the above tips and up and coming star
Maria Valverde.

And to get you started on benifitting from a drink a day,

here's a recipe for a Pomegranate Margarita!
The recipe:
Rub the rim of 2 margarita glasses with a lime wedge.
And if you like, swirl some salt around the rims as well.
Then, in an ice-filled shaker, mix 2 oz. tequila, 1 oz.
orange liqueur and 1/3 unsweetened pomegranate juice.
Shake well for 10 to 20 secs. strain into the
margarita glasses and top with a wee bit of club soda.
And for a more decorative look, top with some pomegranate
seeds or a maraschino cherry and a lime slice over the edge.

That's it, and if you would like more recipes like these,
head to Amazon.com/the kindle store and type the
see title to the rightinto the search bar, download it.

Hollywood's Rx For Leftover Valentine's Day Gifts!

                    Champagne and Chocolate!

Another Valentine's day is gone, and for many of you out there,
that means leftovers. No, we're not talking spaghetti or steak,
the leftovers we're talking about is champagne, chocolate and
roses.
Do you have these things? And if you do, what do plan on doing with
them?
If you're not sure, use them again, but use to make yourself more beautiful.

That's right- Leftover Valentine's day gifts as personal spa treatments.
In Hollywood, the name of the game is recycling and today, you're going to
be like Hollywood and recycle those gifts.
Look below, and learn how Valentine's day gifts can make you more
youthful and beautiful.

a) Champagne-
Too expensive for most, and that's why you can't let any of it go to waste.
Leftover champagne can thicken hair. Yup, if thinning hair is a concern, let
Dom Perignon work his magic. To use: Wash your hair, and instead of conditioner,
pour a cup of champagne into your hair. Massage it in, leave it alone for an hour or
a few hours, and then rinse it out.

The grapes in champagne contain vitamin B and other antioxidants that strip
dulling buildup to help hair look thicker and more lustrous.
Flat champagne also works.
And no, your hair won't smell like Champagne.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
b) Chocolate-

Tired of spending money on expensive creams and moisturizers?
Save your money and use unsweetened cocoa. Run a bath and pour in
1 cup of milk and 2 tbsps. of unsweetened cocoa powder.

Hop in, lie back and relax for 15 to 20 minutes.
Cocoa rebuilds skin and makes it more elastic.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
c) Roses-
Don't let those roses die, take the petals, drop them into a basin
of warm water and soak your feet for 10 to 15 mins.

Crushing the petals releases the oils and the oils help soften
the rough skin on your feet, (especially the heels).

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's it-- 3 uses for those leftover Valentine's day gifts.

Good Luck!

Rhianna's Rx To Prevent The Winter Blues!

                                    Raise A Glass Like Rhianna!
Rhianna-the top selling songstress loves her champagne.
She has some on the plane, she has some in the studio and
she always has some on hand in her dressing room.
What's so special or different about a star drinking champagne?
Well, depending on the type of beverage you choose, a lot.

Hot cocoa can keep skin smooth, eggnog can boost bone health,
apple cider can keep you cold and flu-free and champagne-
can help you stay positive and upbeat during the hectic
chaotic holidays.

Champagne has special compounds that spur the production

of the feel-good hormone serotonin, and if you really want to
boost moods, add some strawberries to your glass.
Strawberries?
Yes, they contain zinc, a mineral that boosts your spirits by
regulating your production of dopamine, a chemical in your brain
that affects your moods.

So, if you're a fan of Rhianna and you need to boost  your mood this Winter,
buy some champagne and strawberries. And if the champagne is
beyond your budget, buy some fish instead. It also helps keep you
upbeat and depression-free during the Winter.

Good Luck!

Chris Brown's Rx For A Healthy Heart!

Boost Heart Health With A Drink!

Chris Brown may be in trouble again.
It's reported that he and the rapper Drake got into it
over the Rhianna.
Whether or not this is true, time will tell.
What is true, Chris Brown was sipping from a bottle
of champagne. Champagne that costs the same as a month's
rent or 1 car payment.
It's probably the smartest thing Mr. Brown did that night,
why?

New research says that the drink that's most popular on New

Year's Eve is a health tonic. A health tonic that protects your heart,
it keeps deadly inflammation from attaching to artery walls,
it also protects you from Parkinson's (Michael J. Fox) and the
bubbles boost circulation, helping your organs work better.

So, are you convinced?
If so, become more like Chris Brown ( no fighting) and drink
more champagne. Just make it one glass a day, and look
for champagne that was made with grapes grown in France's
famed Champagne region. And lastly, it's not important or smart
to spend $375 for a bottle, like you know who.

Good Luck!
