Hollywood's Secret Weapon For Red Carpet Skin!

                                         Get a Glowing Complexion!
If you thought the "Oscars" was the last award show for the year, think again.
Oh no- there's the "Kid's Choice Awards" The "Tony's" and  the
"MTV movie awards, " and with the yearly, non-stop award shows-
many stars have to be at their best, their youthful-looking best.

And how do they maintain this unending array of youthfulness?
With cosmetic surgery? Maybe. Endless hrs. walking and doing yoga? Perhaps.
Or is it a strict diet of fish, greens and low-sugar fruits?
Yes, this is the secret for some and for other stars--their secret is a smoothie.

That's right, stars like David Beckham, Vanessa Hudgens, Miranda Kerr and Blake Lively,
all prefer to drink their way to youthfulness and beauty, and if you want to copy
their way of fighting the aging process, just look below for a youth-enhancing

smoothie.

The smoothie recipe for a youthful and glowing complexion....
Ingredients:
1 cup of pineapple- cubed, frozen or fresh.
1/2 cup of carrots, slightly cooked.*
2 Tbs. fresh lemon juice
1 Tbs. goji berries
1 cup of Boston lettuce
5 to 6 ice cubes.
Place all of the ingredients into a juicer or blender and blend until smooth.
* Cooked carrots are better for you and have way more nutrients.
That's it, and feel free to add some other "good for your complexion"

fruits and vegetables like...cucumbers, kiwi, apples, cantaloupe,
sweet potatoes, (cook until it's soft) and kale.
Also important: It's important to make sure the rest of your diet is
up to par and will complement your complexion. You can't
have a smoothie in the morning and then binge on fried chicken,

pizza, snicker bars, Ben and Jerry's and margaritas and expect to look your
stunning best.

And one last tip-- If weight is an issue and you want some recipes for smoothies
(that personally target belly fat) head on over to Amazon.com/the kindle store
and type The Smoothies, Shakes, Coffee and Tea Rxs For A Flatter Belly
 in the search bar.

Download it and get started on a new body that will be ready to
be unveiled Memorial Day 2016.

Good Luck!

T.V. Show's Rx For Youthful Skin!

The Doctor's Rx For Youthful Skin!

If you're a fan of the T.V. show -"The Doctors" then give yourself a pat on the back.
Why?
It shows you're interested in your health and well-being.
And if you caught this morning's show- they (The Doctors) did an interesting

segment on beauty remedies from around the World.
More specifically: Korea.

Yes, Chinese and Japanese women get all of the attention when it comes
to youthful skin and looks, but the women of Korea should also
be included in this discussion.

And if you want youthful skin (hands, face and neck) like the women of
Korea, head to the supermarket (or your own pantry) and pick up some rice.
That's right, a researcher who studied Asian women and their work habits

noticed something unusual about Asian women who worked in the rice fields,
What did the researcher notice?
Although the women looked their age in the face, their hands looked
like the hands of teenagers.
How was this possible?

Rice water.

Oh, rice is getting a bad rap here in the U.S. (especially white rice)
you know, it's too high calorie, it starchy, it contains gluten (rice is actually

gluten-free) and on and on.
But if you don't want to eat it, that's fine, just wear it.

Wear it, how?
As in pouring a cup or two of rice into a bowl, and then pouring a cup or
two of water over the rice and leaving it alone for a day or two.
After that, take the water and place it in a container, or spray bottle
as for  the rice, cook it or discard it.
Now, use the water as you would a moisturizer.
Or pour a cup into your bathwater, or if you're beginning to see brown (age) spots,
rub some of the water on them.

That's your beauty tip for today, rice water for youthful hands, faces and necks.

And lastly, if you want more great tips as to how the women of Australia, Brazil,
China, France, Greece, Japan, Norway and Sweden stay so dam gorgeous,

head to Amazon.com/the kindle store and type Beauty Secrets From The
World's Hottest Women in the search bar.

Good Luck!

The Golden Globes Beverage Rx For Younger Skin!

                        The Drink For Healhier Skin!

If  you're a fan of award shows, then last night was like almost
like the Super Bowl for you. Not quite the Super Bowl, but close.
And the award show that was held last night was "the Golden Globes!"
The show was entertaining and fun, thanks mostly to hosts Tina Fey and
Amy Poehler.

But the real excitement began when the show was over.
When the show was over? Yes, the after-party.
And if was like most after-parties, then that means drinking.
And if your choice of adult beverages is a martini, or a gin and tonic
or a white wine spritzer, you may want change it.
Change it? To what? A Bloody Mary!

And why a Bloody Mary you ask?
Because you the drinker can also get smoother skin as a result.
That's right, we always hear how women (especially Hollywood
women) are concerned abotut wrinkles, well this is a great way to
celebrate (movies, awards, whatever) and look a few yrs. younger to boot.

According to researchers, tomato juice in Blood Mary's  contains
Lycopene, a compound that gives red grapefruit, peppers, watermelon
and tomatoes, their red color
also guards against free radical damage as well as the
Sun's UV rays.
But there' s a catch, the catch--too much alcohol can do serious damage
to your skin, so have one drink with vodka and the rest wth T.J.
and club soda.
Doing this helps your liver and helps you get radiant looking skin.
Plus, you won't have to worry about the Paparazi taking embarrassing
photos of you falling down drunk. It' a win-win for everyone.

That's it and you want some great recipes for other
adult beverages, head to Amazon.com/the Kindle store
and type Adult Beverages From Around The World in
the search bar. Download it and learn the recipes for over
40 drinks.

Good Luck!

The Beauty Secret From Emma Stone!

Did you catch Bethenny today?
She did a great segment on the latest innovations in
helping you look your most beautiful.

coconut oil.

No, the oils she featured on her show were bamboo,
black currant and the oil used by the female lead
of the new Spiderman movie.

And that oil is Grapeseed oil and it's the beauty
secret that star Emma Stone has used for the past few yrs.

that she uses the oil on her hair to boost shininess and thickness
and on her skin to keep it moisturized and wrinkle-free.

So, if you plan on seeing "The Amazing Spiderman 2" and notice
the incredible hair and skin on star Emma Stone, remember it's

Hollywood's Thanksgiving Dish Rx For Your Skin!

Prevent Breakouts With A Side Dish!

You may think most stars have perfect skin.
Some do, some don't, many suffer from the same breakouts
and blemishes, just like regular folk. Why does it happen?
Stress, sun damage, hereditary, reactions from certain foods and
of course, sweets. And with the holidays in full swing, many
stars and normal folks will be suffering from breakouts.
But  wait, there's something you can do to reduce the number of
breakouts and it may be sitting on your table this Thanksgiving.
What is it?
Cranberries.

That's right- as you may know, some other Winter foods
can help your skin look it's best, but today, cranberries
are front and center.
Cranberries contain a compound that kills blemish-causing
bacteria and reduces the inflammation in your system.
Another benefit from the red gems: They'll help keep the number
of cavities down and keep your gums in tip-top shape.
(Just watch the amount of sugar you add).

Now on to the Cranberry Breakout Reducer Sauce!
Ingredients:
2 tbsps. of cranberry juice, take some from cooked cranberries

or use some from bottled cranberry juice (no-sugar added)
Ingredients:
1/2 cup witch hazel, (find it at drugstores or supermarkets)
Pour both items into a clean bottle and shake.
To apply, just wash your face, shake the bottle and then put some
of the Cranberry toner onto a cottonball and pat it all over your face.
Place the unused portion in the refrigerator, it should stay for 2 wks.
After 2 wks, make a new batch.

Do this twice a week, along with following a sensible diet and
decrease the stress in your life, and you too, could have skin that
looks as good as any star on the big screen.

And if you want to know how to make your skin youthful and vibrant,

head to SupermarketRxs@typepad.com. once you get there, you'll see
a recipe for a butternut squash facial.

Good Luck!

Emma Stone's Rx For A Gorgeous Complexion!

                 Emma Stone's Beauty Secret!
Emma Stone-the talented young star of the Summer's biggest hit- "The Help!"

just revealed her secret for gorgeous skin. Her secret: Grapeseed Oil!
Plus, she's under 25 yrs. of age, which also helps.

Ms. Stone loves the grapeseed oil, but admits she smells like grapes all day.
So, is Ms. Stone delusional or is she right in her assesment of grapes as
wrinkle fighters?
If you picked grapes as wrinkle fighters-give yourself a hand.
How do grapes work as wrinkle fighters?
Grapes are packed with antioxidants and other compounds that fight
fine lines and brighten skin tone.

Do this and watch your skin change right before your eyes.
Buy some grapes (red and green) place a few in the freezer
for 5 mins. Remove them from the freezer, split them in half,
remove the seeds (or buy them seedless) and gently rub the
cool grapes over fyour face and neck, do this for a few mins.
Sit back and relax for 10 to 15 mins. and then rinse your face
with lukewarm water. Do this in the evening for a week, and
you should see a reduction in fine lines, and better skin texture
and tone.

And for those who aren't willing to rub a fresh grape on their face,
do like Emma Stone and splurge on some grapeseed oil.

Good Luck!
