Slim Down Tip For A Reality Star!

                iPhones and Weight Gain!

Oh no, it's just been reported that reality star Kim Kardashian
is having trouble losing that last 15 to 20 pounds of baby weight.
It may be estrogen overload, too many meals made with
white carbs and/or sugar, or it may be her reliance on electronic gadgets.

Yes, you're reading it right, just as that iPad or IPhone is causing
you to sleep less, it can also cause your body to hold onto that last
5, 10 or 15 pounds.
How?
Your electronic gadget emits a blue light, and if you have it (your iPad)
on while you're eating, it (the blue light) can cause you to eat more
or even cause your metabolism to slow down.

Researchers say blue lights may influence hormones, the very same
hormones that control weight and appetite.
So, if you've been struggling with weight, perhaps putting away that
iPad or iPhone, may be the only (diet) change you need.
And one last thing, keeping your phone or laptop on right up
until you go to bed, may also influence sleep.
Turn them off 60 to 90 minutes before heading off to bed.

That's it, and if you want more info on gadgets and sleeping,

head on over to Amazon.com.the kindle store and
type The 99 Best Natural Remedies To End Insomnia in
the search bar and download it.

Good Luck!

Walt Disney's Beauty Rx For Women!

                            Become A Real Sleeping Beauty!

Are you a fan of Walt Disney? Do you have a favorite Disney movie?
Well, if your favorite Disney film is "Sleeping Beauty" give yourself
a pat on the back.

But don't just pat yourself on the back, make sure you really follow the
title. Follow the title?
Yes,  eating right and exercising are incredibly important if you want to
maintain your looks and weight, but the old adage about sleeping
to look more beautiful is actually true.

How true?
According to new research, women who get 7 to 8 hrs. of sleep
a night do look younger. They also have half as many lines and age
spots and better elasticity.
Researchers have found out that when you sleep, your skin is
repairing itself after being exposed to the Sun, pollution and that burger
and fries you had for lunch.

So, if you've been trying to get by on 4 to 6 hrs. of sleep (like Jay
Leno and Olivia Munn) increase the time by an hr. or two and you too,
can become a real life "Sleeping Beauty!"

Good Luck!

Real Housewives of New York Rx For Insomnia!

                        Sleep Like Kelly!

Kelly Bensimon, the supermodel and cast member of "Real Housewives
of New York," is becoming quite the guru-on all things alternatives,
in fact, she's not only following a lifestyle of good quality food,
spa treatments and more sleep, but she's written a book about it
to share with fans.

If you saw yesterday's post- "Pippa Middleton's Rx For Deeper Sleep"
then you're in for a surprise, why? Today- learn how Ms. Bensimon
fights insomnia. Insomnia as you may know is big business, so big- people spend
billions trying to fight it. Unfortunately, the solutions many Drs. give you to fight

it, may do more harm in the long run.

That's why- people like Pippa and Kelly have written books telling you how to
overcome these problems naturally- Kelly's Rx to overcome insomnia- Lavender.
Yes, the sweet smelling purple plant is gaining in popularity as a way to overcome
your sleep problems. Kelly buys lavender in a spray and spritzes it on her and her
daugthers' linen. Plus, she uses lavender tea. A cup an hour before bed.
One warning- the tea may be too strong for kids.

So, if you're like Kelly or Pippa and suffer from insomnia- try pilates
and/or  lavender. And if you want more tips from Kelly- she gladly welcomes
all questions at her Twitter account. Her account: @KellyBensimon.

And if you want to check out her new book- head to Barnes and Noble or
Amazon.com and look for the book- "I Can Make You Hot!"

Good Luck and Sweet Dreams!

Sting's Rx For All-Night Sleep!

                               End Insomnia!
Sting, the former lead singer of "The Police" and now-solo singer was today's
guest on the Ellen show. He told Ellen he turned 60 and feels great. How does he do
it? Yoga!

If you remember a few yrs. back, Sting told any and everyone about the benefits of
Yoga that helped him achieve "Superman" like hours in the bedroom.
It's true, yoga-especially for men, is said to help with the dreaded premature
ejaculation-so many men complain about.

But today, I'd rather talk about another problem plaguing both men
and women. The problem: Insomnia!
That's right- taking up yoga can help anyone suffering from an inability
to get to sleep and stay alseep.

Why is it so effective? Yoga relaxes both the body and mind and helps
you drift off to sleep faster and stay asleep longer.

So, are you ready to follow Sting's lead and take up yoga?
If so, go online (to Google) and look for instructional DVDs on yoga
to help you get started.

Good Luck!
