Sport and Energy Drinks are a big business, how big?

Blend or juice until smooth.

The Friends' Rx For A Leaner Body!

                      The Jennifer Aniston Diet! 

With Summer fast approaching, many out there want some tips on
how to get lean and sexy for the upcoming bathing suit season.
Well, you may want to do what Jennifer Aniston is doing,
what's that? Following an Alkaline diet that heals and reactivates

Stars Who Love Carbs!

                 Eat Carbs Like The Stars! 

Think all of the stars have given up carbs?
Well, it's not true, there are still a few stars out there
that haven't abandoned all carbs and they are...
a) Reba McEntire-
Ms. Reba has sworn off carbs, white carbs.
No white pastas, pancake mixes, or flour.
b) Sandra Bullock-
A typical meal for Ms. Bullock- a plate of brown rice,
some black beans and some steamed veggies on top.
c) Jessica Alba-
Ms. Alba hasn't cut out carbs entirely, what she has cut out...
processed foods. Sort of like Reba McEntire. She wants nothing 

but fresh and organic for her family.
d) Jennifer Aniston-
Jennifer Aniston's personal chef had to really convince her to eat
carbs. And she's taken his advice, and added brown rice, lentils
and Quinoa to her diet.
e) Paula Deen-
With all of the turmoil Ms. Deen has had to endure the past yr.
going to back to her old eating habits would be understandable.
But Ms. Deen has remained strong and stayed away from the carb
that really 
took a toll on her health, what carb was that? White Potatoes.

Jennifer Aniston's Rx For Greater Health!

Jennifer Aniston celebrated another birthday this past Feb.
and she says she still feels as good as did 20 yrs. ago.
So, what's her secret? It could be the fact that she eats well all week,
and then has some pizza or a burger on the weekend.
Or it could be the fact she ate a salad for lunch, the whole 10 yrs. she
did the T.V. show-"Friends!"
Or it could be the fact that she does yoga and Pilates religiously.
Or it could the new weight loss trend sweeping Europe. 

What is it? Juicing.

That's right- juicing in Europe is gaining in popularity, thanks to 

a nutritionist  named Jason Vale. 
Ms. Aniston follows the teachings of Mr. Vale and it's helping her to look
more youthful and

Hollywood's Rx For Eating Less!

                       Eat Less This Christmas! 

Hollywood stars are always looking for the latest gadget, exercise program 

or diet to help them maintain their weight.
One strategy that's making becoming popular again is smaller plates.
But just not smaller plates, but blue in color as well.

Why small, blue plates?
Because, they help you lose the urge to eat 15 mins. sooner.
Blue is a color least likely to stimulate appetite, mainly because
there aren't that many blue foods. Plus, it's said that blue helps
you relax and eating while relaxed, most likely means you'll eat less.
As for the smaller size plates- You'll eat about 230 fewer calories and
if a small plate is filled up, your brain brain says that's enough food and
you'll feel satisfied with that amount.

A few tips for kids: Some researchers say that hyperactive kids, (especially
boys) can control their outbursts and temper tantrums if you paint their
rooms blue. As stated earlier- blue has a relaxing effect on the central nervous
system. And for smaller plates- it's best to feed kids off of smaller plates, this helps
them control their appetites and trains them to eat just enough,   (so they won't
have to deal with weight gain and start the yo-yo dieting) as opposed to
giving them a large amount of food on a bigger plate and you getting upset if
they don't finish. And if they want more, give them more.

Jennifer Aniston's Rx For Good Health!

You may know about Jennifer Aniston eating a salad for lunch the whole time 

she was on Friends, her new secret to staying young and maintaining weight: 
She fasts one day a week.

That's right- Ms. Aniston skips food for 1 day and just drinks
juices made with beets, cucumbers, spinach, garlic and ginger.
The juice from fresh veggies and fruit contain compounds that
help flush fat-trapping toxins from the body to keep your metabolism
running at the highest levels.
And that's not all- Researchers now say that skipping food in favor
of liquids for one day can also...
a) Slow Down The Aging Process-
Food, especially processed food, takes a lot of energy to digest 

and all of that energy takes it toll over time. Giving your system a
break once a week, and you help slow down the aging process by 

5 to 10 yrs.
Need proof? Look at the Hunza tribes, the Sardinians
and the Japanese from Okinawa, they live well into their 90's
and 100's without heart disease, diabetes, strokes, Alzheimer's,
cancers and sexual problems that are so prevalent in the U.S.
b) Go Two Days A Week-
Going "foodless" for 2 days is being pushed as a way to get hormones
back on track. The 2 hormones Leptin and Ghrelin which control
hunger, are usually behind the cravings and failed diet after diet.
And if anyone wants to pass this tip on to Lady Gaga, feel free.
Not able to drink juices for 2 days? Drink juice for 1 day, and then
eat low calorie, mostly protein the next.
(Chicken breast and salad, eggs with turkey sausage, salmon and veggies).
A trucker, who was more than 100 lbs. overweight, did this trick and
was able to get his gargantuan cravings under control.
In fact, after doing this for a yr. he'd eat breakfast and lunch,
and still be full, so dinner was usually a piece of fruit or a bowl of soup.
c) The Rest Of The Week-
If you do try the 2 day a week juice or mostly protein diet, please remember
that the remaining five days aren't a license to eat like it's Thanksgiving
or Christmas. Doing so will only result in embarrassing bowel movements,
facial blemishes, bad moods, and of course- weight gain.

Jennifer Aniston's Rx To Prevent Cancer!

For the whole ten yrs. of doing the T.V. show Friends, it's been reported that
Jennifer Aniston had a salad for lunch. We're not sure if she had a hot dog
and salad, or some pizza and salad.
What's so unusual about a salad for lunch? 

Nothing, but doing it for 10 yrs. takes great disicipline.

Most people won't have a salad for a few days a week, never mind 10 yrs.
And not eating a salad a few times a week, can cause a very serious disease
to take hold.
The serious disease: Cancer!

Eating salad a few times a week, means less DNA damage, which is the 1st
step in cancer formation. Leafy, dark greens are packed with phytochemicals
that help cells grow and divide properly, plus they neutralize carcinogens.

Important tip:
Make sure if you do have the salad a few times a week, have it with plenty of greens,
romaine, spinach, watercress and carrots, tomatoes, onions, garlic,
and beans. Skip the 3 types of cheeses, salted meats (bologna, salami,
and ham) croutons, and fatty dressings.

And just think, if you're in your 20's and start eating salad a few times
a week, you can prevent cancer and look as good as Jennifer Aniston
in your 40s.
