A Female Star's Hot Rx For Staying Slim!

                                Bring The Heat! 

Not the heat from the temperature, the heat we're talking about is from food
and if you're a spicy kind of girl (or guy) you're not alone.
In fact, restaurants have all types of extremely hot meals, sauces,
spices, chilies and beverages devoted to extreme heat lovers.
And one heat lover in Hollywood credits it (the hot stuff) for her slim
and trim figure.
The star:
Jessica Alba.

Yes, she's Latina, and that may have something to do with it, but she's absolutely
right about it (hot foods) helping her maintain her sleek and trim body.
How so?
When your mouth tastes something spicy, your body automatically increases its
levels of GLP-1, a hunger-reducing hormone, while at the same time lowering levels
of ghrelin, an appetite stimulant. The real star is capsaicin, a compound in hot
foods that helps you eat about 15 to 20 percent fewer calories.

So, if you've been avoiding hot foods for fear that they'll raise blood
pressure or cause you to sweat more, put those fears away, the opposite is true. 

Say what?
Yes, eating more hot foods will actually lower blood pressure.
How so?
Think of hot foods as a plumber's snake, a snake that moves through
your system, getting rid of gunk and debris, thus allowing blood to flow
more easily.

Go to Google.com and type hot peppers and blood pressure in the search box.
And finally, if you eat hot foods, but won't allow your kids to eat them, stop it.
Ms. Alba allows her 2 daughters to eat hot sauce and hot peppers whenever their 

hearts desire them. And it's also the favorite food of the young man who
plays "Brick" on the hit show--"The Middle" he's been a hot food lover for some time now.
