The Horror Movie Rx For Younger Skin!

                       Turn Back The Clock!

If you're a fan of horror movies or horror "love" stories, then you're well aware
that the vampire is a constant theme in a lot of horror movies going back
100 yrs.

And if you particularly enjoy movies with vampires, you may also enjoy this
bit of news about anti-aging and looking younger.

What is it?
Cosmetic surgeons have figured out a way to use your own blood
to help smooth away fine lines and wrinkles, add firmness and give your
skin that healthy and youthful glow.

That's right, called the "vampire facelift" and it may be the "next big

thing" in cosmetic surgery.
So big in  fact, Kim K. has even tried it.

And if you're wondering, how is it done?
The first step requires that a few drops of blood be taken from a vein,

next, platelets--tiny cells in the blood that are important for clotting and tissue
repair are taken to create platelet-rich blood.
Then-they use a very fine needle to inject the rich blood into targeted areas of the face,
where it stimulates the formation of healthy new skin cells, blood vessels, collagen
and skin-smoothing fatty tissue.
This new procedure can be done alone or with Botox, chemical peels

or fillers.

Does it work and when will one see results?
It does take time, about 3 months to be exact, but after that, you should expect
to see fewer lines and wrinkles and firmer skin.
What does it cost?
It depends, if you just want your forehead done or if you want the whole face done.

Starting price about $800.
Is it safe?
Yes, mainly because it's your blood and not the blood or fat from someone else,
and it's safer than silicone or other types of material that may cause infections,
and much worse. Plus, this idea isn't new- some Olympic teams in Europe used
to take the blood from athletes and re-inject them to help them heal
faster.

So, if you just want to look younger like Edward or Bella, or you just want to knock
off a few yrs. then go ahead and look into the "Vampire Facelift!"

Good Luck!

Music Star's Food Rx To Lower Blood Pressure!

Food Tip From A Musical Genius!

Hey, if you were around during the early 80's, then you probably remember
the man many were calling the "American Mozart", a musical genius,
the "modern-day Mozart" and on and on.

This musical prodigy (who can also play 15 musical instruments) was also known for
not only for putting out great music, but for his love of this color.
What color was that?
It was purple.
And the musical genius:

Prince from Minn. Minnesota.
That's right, the Summer of 1984 belonged to Prince, his no. 1 album-"Purple Rain"

and then the movie with the same name.

And if you're a fan of purple, and you're a daring and adventurous
foodie and you have high blood pressure, then you may want to start eating
purple potatoes.
Yes, you're reading it right, scientists at the University of Scranton knew that

potatoes were one of the best foods to lower blood pressure (mainly the skin of a
potato) and decided to see if the new wave of "colored foods" would work even
better.
And to their astonishment, the purple potatoes worked way better than the
brown potatoes at lowering one's blood pressure.

Foods like purple potatoes have more pressuring lowering nutrients than the other
potatoes.
So, if your doctor just told you your B.P. is a little high and he wants you
to try a B.P. medication, ask him or her if you can do a few things on your own
to try and lower it.
Some of those other things...

eat bananas- 2 medium-sized bananas a day
give up or cut way down on sugar and starches (white foods)
lose weight, if weight is an issue
eat more sesame oil
squeeze a tennis ball, a few times a day
take up meditation and Tai Chi.
Plus, some other things.
And if you want to find out what those other things are-- head on over to Amazon.com/
the kindle store and look for The Natural and Drug-Free Ways to lower Blood Pressure.
Type the title into the search bar and get more valuable and natural tips to lower B.P.

That's it and in paying tribute to Prince, go to Youtube.com and listen to
Little Red Corvette, or Purple Rain, or Raspberry Beret, or Diamonds and
Pearls, or you get the picture.

Natural Rxs To Restore Peace and Calm!

                                          All-Natural Medicine!

People getting diabetes, high blood pressure, certain cancers and bone fractures
will only go up due to an aging population.
But you should also worry about the illness that affects stars and "regular"
folks alike- what is it? Anxiety.

Yes, that's right everyone from Taylor Swift to Amanda Seyfried to Kristen Stewart
have all said they struggled with anxiety at some point in their lives
and if you too, struggle with it and want to forgo the doctor-prescribed route- use
some of the all-natural tips listed below.
a) Eat Yogurt-
Another benefit one can get from top quality plain yogurt: Becoming calm in a crowded situation.
Have to speak before a crowd? Eat some yogurt first.  Ninety percent of the calming
serotonin ( chemicals in the brain) in your bloodstream is made by the probiotic bacteria
in your digestive tract, which means you'll be better able to cope with everyday stressors.
b) Eat Pretzels-
Or a few potato chips. Yes, it's true, a little salt can prevent you from experiencing
anxiety symptoms like a pounding heart. A little salt from a few chips or 2 to 4
pretzels put a lid on the anxiety-triggering hormones.
c) Walk Barefoot-
Live in spot that doesn't have broken glass or millions of small rocks?
Walk around barefoot.
Doing this stimulates the pressure points on the bottom of your feet that rev
your production of GABA, a relaxing stress-busting hormone.
d) Stand Up-
You know sitting for long periods isn't good for your waistline or heart,
and new research says it can also raise stress hormones and trigger an

anxiety attack. Standing up lowers the stress hormones called cortisol.
e) Breathe Deeply-
f) Hug Someone or Something
That's it, and if you want more on deep breathing techniques, foods and exercises
to help you get more calm and relaxed, head online to Amazon.com/the kindle store
and download, see title below...
Remember- natural alternatives always work better than doctor-prescribed meds,
and they're cheaper.

Older Star's Asian Rx For Looking Younger!

                       Look Younger Like Linda!

If you're a fan of 80's television then you probably remember Dallas.
This show was not only huge, it was a cultural phenomenon, thanks
to "who shot J.R." and yes, and most of the attention and accolades
went to Larry Hagman, but let's not forget his long suffering wife--
Sue-Ellen.
And the woman who played Sue- Ellen was Linda Gray.

Linda Gray just did an interview and revealed that on her next
birthday in October, she'll be 75 yrs. of age.
And if you're wondering how is it possible that she looks
15 to 20 younger; give some of the credit
to a strict vegetarian diet, surrounding herself with positive
friends and family, playing with her grandkids and the Asians.
The Asians?
Yes, as in doing something they've been doing for centuries,
and what is that?
It's body brushing!

This is true, and it simply means taking a body
brush and starting at your feet, brush your skin, using
small circular motions. Start at your feet and work towards
your heart, stop and then brush your neck, back and shoulders
and work towards your waist.
And the purpose of this?
To slough off dead skin while stimulating the elimination of
toxins and waste products from your system.
Ms. Gray does this everyday while standing in the shower-
(without the water running)
So, if you were curious as to Ms. Grays' whereabouts,
now you know.

And lastly, if you want a good body brush- head to Bed, Bath
and Beyond or online at Amazon.com.
And if you want inside secrets as to how Asian women
look and behave as if they're 15 to 20 yrs. younger,

The NetFlix Rx For Fixing Dry Skin!
If you're a fan of the cable series- "Orange is The New Black" you're
alone, it's been a big hit since it debut about 4 yrs. ago.
And if you're a fan of Orange and you have dry skin, then make sure to
something that's really orange and associated with Halloween.
That something: Pumpkins.

Mentioned in a few of our past posts, we told you all about the actress

Uma Thurman and her using pumpkin to help turn back the clock...
on her face.
That's right- Pumpkin facials are quite popular right about now, and if you're
skin is starting to dry out- (due to the warmer indoor temperatures) then you
may want to follow Ms. Thurman's lead and do the same.
To make a pumpkin mask...do the following-
Mix together-2 Tbs. pumpkin- (fresh or canned)
1 Tbs. honey and 1 Tbs. plain yogurt.
Stir well and apply to your clean and slightly damp face, neck and
the back of your hands. Sit or lie back and leave the mask on for
20 minutes. After the time is up- rinse the mask off  with warm water.
That's it- A great way to get rid of that Pumpkin.
And one last thing- If you enjoy buying fresh pumpkins, go online to
Amazon.com/the kindle store (the title: orange is The New Green)
and learn how to use every bit of that pumpkin to help kids grow,

thicken hair, end insomnia, build strong bones, detoxify

Hollywood's Rx For Better Winter Health!

A Brunch Rx For Better Winter Health!
With the Fall season already here and the Winter season right behind, you know what that
means: More sickness.

And we're not just talking about colds and flu.

No- the other illness that gets too little attention is called SAD.
SAD? Yes, seasonal affective disroder and it's brought on by the change in weather,
change in seasons, less sunlight, abandoning exercise programs, more goodies
(food and alcohol) from Oct. 31 to March 17th, (St. Paddy's day) and more stress,
cooking, entertaining, (families getting together and looking for the perfect gifts).

And some of the signs you may have SAD: blue and dark moods, weight gains,
quick tempers, less social, etc.
And lastly, how does get out of or even avoid SAD?
Well, you can move to the land of Kim Kardashian and Caitlynn Jenner,
also known as Hollywood (or LaLa Land) and expose yourself to

endless sunshine and 80 degree days or you can...
eat less junk
eat less processed food
eat fewer sweets and other white foods
eat little to no high-fructose corn syrup,
MSG, and trans-fats
drink rarely or not at all
exercise (20 to 30 minutes each day)
get some sunlight, by opening up curtains or
investing in a sunlamp
socializing more
Volunteering
and eating the following.
Look at the recipe listed below, it'll help you avoid and prevent the

An Old Sitcom's Rx For Living Till 100!

                                      Jennifer Aniston's Longevity Secret!

If you want to live till you're 90's or beyond you may want to take
some advice from an old sitcom. And for those who feel 70 to 80 yrs. is enough,
you may want to stop reading right about now.

Longevity experts always have a list of things you should and shouldn't

do to reach 90 yrs. of age or more, you know, things like...
*exercise more
* eat less meat
* eat more beans
* eat fewer (or no) processed foods
* drink green tea
* cut out wheat
* attend some type of religious service
* never pick up a cigarette (or quit smoking)
And on and on, but surprisingly, the following tip
from a top sitcom may help you reach your goal (of getting to 100 yrs. of age)
better and more easily than all of the tips listed above.
What is it?
Spend a great deal of time with Friends.

Yes, the old sitcom "Friends" starring Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow,
Courtney Cox, David Schwimmer, and the 2 Matts were onto to something
way back in 1993 and that something was- a good group of close-knit
friends can...

* help you get slim and stay slim
* keep your memory sharp
* prevent heart troubles
* and boost moods- keeping you happy and depression-free.
That's it, and if you're spending huge amounts of money on vitamins,
special beverages, organic this and that, remember the answer to living

well into your 80's and 90's may be on your flat screen...as in reruns for
 old episodes of Friends.
Thanks Ms. Aniston-Theroux.

Good Luck!

A Low-Cost Rx For Buying Casual Wear!

Save Your Money and Become A Designer!

Oh no, she's done it again.
Who is she, and what have she done?
Well, we're not about  talking Brittney Spears, the woman who's
getting criticized is a frequent target and lightening rod for saying
outrageous things and it's none other than Gwyneth Paltrow.

Are you shocked?

Neither are we, and the thing that has people upset are T-shirts.
Yup, that's not a misprint, Ms. Paltrow has designed and placed some
T-shirts on her own site--Goop.
What's the problem?
She's wants you (regular folks) to pay $150 to $300 for each T-shirt.
(she also wants you buy more than 1).
Ms. Paltrow claims that her plain (no animals or funny sayings on the front)
T-shirts are for the average woman.

Yes, the average woman who makes between 1 or more million a year.

So, if you don't have $200 or more to spend on a T-shirt, don't feel bad
and  don't spend time criticizing Ms. Paltrow, just head to Walmart,
Costco, JC Penny or T.J. Maxx and pick up 20 or so T-shirts for
$50 to $100.

A 90's Movie Rx For Misbehaving Kids!

                             Help For That Problem Child!

If you were around 25 yrs. ago, then you may remember a movie called
"Problem Child" It starred the late John Ritter, Amy Yasbeck and Michael Oliver
as the kid from Hell.
And although the movie was a comedy, we (the audience) were never told
why the kid was a such a terror.

Well, if it were made today, perhaps the filmmakers would explain why the
adopted kid was so bad, maybe it was from moving from one foster parent to another
to another,
or maybe the real mom and dad were under the influence
(of drugs and/or alcohol)
or maybe he needed some dietary changes.

And speaking of dietary changes--
If you too, are experiencing your own "problem child" and you want to deal
with it -naturally and organically, visit this site: ADHDFoodSolution.com.
And what's so special about this site, you ask?

A mom was told she should really think about putting her kid on meds (Ritalin)
or into a special alternative school, why? The teachers and a lot of his classmates
wanted him gone. But mom said wait, give me a little time as she wanted to find
something natural and that something natural was the website.

And after following the suggestions listed on this site, the woman's son is
now an A and B student and has the respect of the teachers and fellow students alike.

So, if you're at your wits end, go ahead and give it (the site) a try, it can't hurt.

Good Luck!
