Hollywood's Rx For Recycling!

                            Wait, Don't Throw Out Those Plastic Bottles! 

A number of Hollywood stars are very serious about recycling. 

And even though they can afford to throw things out and just keep buying
new stuff, they choose not to. 


If you're the same way, and hate to throw anything out, especially plastic
water bottles, reuse them and put them to good use.
Not sure how? Continue reading for some tips...
a) Exercise Equipment-
Who has the money for trainers and all of that expensive equipment? 

We (regular folks) don't and that's why filling empty plastic bottles will have to
do. Filled with sand, each bottle weighs about 2.5 pounds which is perfect for
building lean muscles. 

b) Kill The Fruit Flies--
Now that the warm weather is back, that also means fruit flies in
a number of households and if you're a victim of the microscopic pests, 

use a few plastic bottles to get rid of them.
How? Pour a little dish detergent into a bottle or two, a tsp. of apple cider
vinegar and place some plastic wrap on top. Secure the wrap with a rubber
band, poke a few holes in the top and place in discreet spots in your kitchen.
The flies are attracted to the scent of apple cider vinegar, fly in and can't
get out.
c) Soothe Those Feet-
After a long day at work a foot massage would be nice, only problem--
no one around to do it. That's okay, fill a plastic bottle with cold water,
head outdoors and rub your feet over the bottle.
Do this for a few minutes, and to make it more pleasurable, place the
bottle in the freezer for 20 to 30 mins.

Daniel Tosh, host of the "The Daniel Tosh show" recently dispensed a tip
that could help all pizza lovers.
The Tip:
If you dig into pizza without letting it cool down, you could burn the roof the mouth.
And to relieve the pain, Mr. Tosh says--take a 1/2 tsp. of sugar and put it on your tongue.
And then, hold your tongue against the roof of your mouth for a few seconds.

How does this work?
The melting crystals stimulate the brain to release endorphins, (feel good chemicals)
that can alleviate pain and induce a feeling of well-being.

If you're a real fan of movie star Matthew McConaughey, then you know that he
married a woman from Brazil and according to some, this is the country that produces
the "most beautiful women in the World".

Hey, some people from Sweden, Italy, Greece, Spain and Australia may disagree,
but it's only the opinion of a certain few.
Well, with that said, you may want to know how they (the women) maintain
their stunning good looks on paltry budgets.
Their secrets: 

Food.
Yes, they eat it,, but they also wear and use it, as in masques, scrubs, and hair conditioners
and one of the foods they use is brown sugar.

Hit Show's Rx For Better Moods!

But for those who not only enjoy watching it, but also enjoy doing some of the moves,

Reba McEntire is still going strong, she's a few yrs. from 60 and she just released
her 27th album.
And if you're wondering how she manages to stay so slim and youthful looking,
she made a diet change about a decade ago that's now becoming commonplace
in Hollywood and throughout the U.S.

What did Ms. Reba do?
She eats mostly fruit, vegetables, lean meats, fish and good fats.

A Simple Rx To Stay Healthy While Traveling This Summer!

                        Clean Up While You Travel! 

You may not be able to take a trip like the stars this Summer,
you know--first class this, first class that, but that's okay.
If you're only able to afford a 3 day cruise, or a bus trip to seemom and dad, make sure you stay clean.

Stay clean?
Yes, as in keeping your hands clean.
The norovirus--best known for causing diarrhea and vomiting on cruise ships--can also wreak havoc on planes and buses.
And to combat this, make sure to carry hand sanitizers and use em after touching the hand rails, the head rest,
 the bathroom door and especially use some before you eat. (you may have finger foods).

And another problem for those traveling on long bus or plane rides...Blood clots.
Make sure you stay well-hydrated, wiggle your ankles, (every 30 mins.)
eat dark chocolate, kiwi, grapes and apples and drink unsweetened grape juice.
All keep the blood circulating.

Have you ever heard of Rodeo Drive? It's a world famous street in Beverly Hills,
and if you're a movie buff then you may have seen it on the big screen, (Pretty Woman)
Well, some of us may go and visit it one day, but shopping there, that's not
going to happen for the majority of us.
But wait, there may be a way you can shop on all types of streets and make a
living doing it, how?
By becoming a professional shopper.

That's right, with an economy that's going into the toilet each and every day,
a lot of us may have to create our own means of employment and stop relying on others.
And if you enjoy the crowds, carrying the bags, the long waits in lines, then sign up
and get started. 

And where do you find this type of job? Continue reading...
a) Find Your Niche-
Simply put, find one certain category, will you shop for kids?
Will you buy groceries, or furniture or cosmetics?
Or you can really multi-task and do them all. 

b) Get The Word Out-
Now that you consider yourself a "professional shopper" you have to let people know.
How? Talking to friends and family to see if they need anyone.
Online-post your services on Facebook, Tumblr, etc.
Or place an ad in your local paper, or go to a senior center and talk to some 

of the personnel.
c) Know Your Clients-
Create a client questionnaire to gather info you can keep on file. Ask them
to name their preferred designers, fabrics, cuts and price points.
Are your clients planning on long trips, do they need makeup, toiletries,
etc. for this trip? Or say you a become a food shopper...

Does your client have food allergies, can he or she have wheat, or are they strict
vegetarians?
d) Go Small-
As in boutiques. If you plan on clothes shopping only, you may want to head to smaller
boutiques, why? You'll be able to develop a better relationship with them as opposed to
someone from Macy's or Bloomingdales. Plus, they (the owners) may give you
discounts and allow you take clothes or bring them back if there's a problem.
e) Set Your Price-
How much are you going to charge?
It's up to you, some people who've been at this are 100 to 300 dollars an hour.
It's best to start small, ($15 to $25 dollars an hr.)
but as you become bigger and more well known, charge more. 

f) Get Licensed-
Yes, another thing that involves red tape, but if you're serious about this, then it
won't really matter. A wholesalers license allows you to buy furniture and home
goods at wholesale prices, plus attend trade showrooms, where you can also
buy at low prices. Just go to your state revenue department's website, type in reseller
and find out what to do.

That's it- And soon you too, can shop like the stars, but you... will be getting paid for it.

Teeth, well really gums are the key to a longer life 
and if  your gums are receding or damaged,
you risk not only your attractiveness but your life as well.
But today, we'll focus on teeth and if you spend hundreds
on teeth-whitening kits or trips to the dentist 
(for teeth-whitening), you may be wasting your money.
That's right, the key to a beautiful smile may be 
in your refrigerator. 

The tips...
-fruits and veggies.
Stars may eat raw fruits and veggies for a reason
(To continue to get work), but you should be eating them
as well. Crunchy foods like apples, carrots and cucumbers,
act like small toothbrushes in your mouth helping to

T.V. Doctor's Rx For Turning Back The Clock!

                          Wearing Wine To Look Younger! 

If you're watching "The Today's Show's" series on making it to 100, 

then you already know that Dr. Oz was on this morning giving his 7 tips
for making it to the century mark.
No offense to the good doctor, but his tips have been given out and recycled
for about 15 yrs. now.
What were they?
Go to bed earlier
exercising for 10 to 20 minutes is quite alright.
stand and balance on one leg for 30 secs. each day (to prevent falls later on in life)
eat purple foods, eggplant, plums, concord grapes and blueberries.
And drink some of the purple as well. As in wine.
But hold on, what if some members out watching don't drink?
That's okay, how about wearing some wine.
Wearing wine?
Yes, and if you start wearing it, you'll be just like former "Desperate Housewife"
Terry Hatcher.

It's rumored that Ms. Hatcher likes to pour some wine into her bath water
and relax for 15 to 20 mins.
And if you really want to turn back the clock, use some of that wine to make a
facial. Yes, a facial.

A facial penetrates your face to directly deliver major antioxidants to it.
And  since these antioxidants are absorbed,  they go to work  repairing damage
and protecting your skin against pollution and the Sun's rays, leaving it smoother
and with fewer fine lines.

To make your wine-face masque, you'll need wine, (any red wine will do) 
honey and plain yogurt.
1/4 cup of wine, 1 Tbs. dark honey and plain yogurt 1 cup. 

Mix together in a bowl. 
Take a clean washcloth, and run it under warm water.
Lie back and place the washcloth over your face.
Leave it on for 30 secs. and then remove it.
Lay back in a comfortable chair and place the wine masque on your whole face
and neck. Leave on for 15 mins. and then rinse off with warm water.
Important tip:
Do this on your day off or on the weekend as some redness may occur.
Do this once or twice a wk. just until you get the results you want and
then once a week or once every 2 wks for maintenance.

them and eat a small amount each day.
Doing this will improve your health in ways you never thought possible.

A Child Star's Rx For Losing Weight!
