Justin Bieber's star still burns bright. You figure most music stars usually have

tall. And since he just turned 18, it's doubtful Mr. Bieber is going to grow any

Jennifer Aniston had a salad for lunch. We're not sure if she had a hot dog
and salad, or some pizza and salad.

Nothing, but doing it for 10 yrs. takes great disicipline.

Most people won't have a salad for a few days a week, never mind 10 yrs.
And not eating a salad a few times a week, can cause a very serious disease
to take hold.
The serious disease: Cancer!

Eating salad a few times a week, means less DNA damage, which is the 1st
step in cancer formation. Leafy, dark greens are packed with phytochemicals
that help cells grow and divide properly, plus they neutralize carcinogens.

Important tip:
Make sure if you do have the salad a few times a week, have it with plenty of greens,
romaine, spinach, watercress and carrots, tomatoes, onions, garlic,

And just think, if you're in your 20's and start eating salad a few times

kindergarten and first grade. Using this method also helps kids
crack the code, the language code.

Another tip: As they grow older, let them read aloud to you or their

Who doesn't love flip-flops in the Summer?
Well, apparently a lot of stars do. According to some fashion polls,
stars like Nicole S. (From the Pussycat Dolls), Jessica Alba,
Halle Berry, Uma Thurman and Jennifer Aniston are big fans.
Their favorite flip-flops: Havianas!

There's no question about the comfort of flip flops, but did you know about
the dangers of wearing them.
The danger: Low back pain.


Yes, a lot of women and some men have reportedly complained about
low back pain as a result of wearing them-day after day.
Why does it happen?
Flip-flops dramatically change your gait (walking style) mainly because
you have to work to keep them from slipping off. And this can throw the
body out of alignment, leading to pain in the lower back, knees, hips,
ankle and feet.

If you're suffering from back pain and want to realign your back,
do the following...Lie on your stomach with elbows bent and palms
on the floor. Straighten your arms to raise your chest and hold for
15 to 20 secs. Repeat about 3 to 5 times. Do it daily, or until the pain
goes away.

And lastly,
Do you throw out the flip-flops and switch to a pair of sneakers?
No, just consider switching to thong sandals with ankle straps or strappy
"birdcage" sandals that surround the whole foot.

You know T.V. host Ellen DeGeneres likes to dance, give away stuff,
play pranks, have English sensations Rosie and Sophia Grace on...
frequently, and tend to her avocados.
That's right- Ellen and Portia own a large piece of land, that has a lot
of avocado trees.
If  you only use avocados to make guacamole, then it's time to make
a change. A change for better eyesight.

Yes, using the fruit (avocado is a fruit) and mixing it into a salad,
improves eyesight.
Avocados help you absorb more lutein, more alpha-carotene and
more beta-carotene. And these nutrients all help sharpen vision and
prevent macular degeneration, one of leading causes of blindness.

So, if failing eyesight is something you're afraid of- add a few slices
of avocados to your lettuce, tomato, carrots, onions, garlic, and
some cucumbers. And make sure the dressing contains some fat,
like olive or macadamia nut oil. And lastly, don't add strips of bacon,
croutons (especially from white bread) ham, cheese, and mayo.
Poor eyesight isn't the only thing you'll be worried about, a bigger
waistline will also be a concern.

It's all about the life of La La Anthony, wife of N.Y. Knick-Carmelo Anthony.
Well, one thing about Ms. Anthony- she isn't relying only on her good
looks and financial backing from her husband to get her through life.

No, she's developed a whole cosmetic line called Motives For LaLa,

Are you fan of the T.V. show "The Office?" 

Well, with actor Steve Carell gone, the show hasn't been the same. 
If you find yourself in a situation with a difficult boss, try the following
tip, which might make it a lot better. 

The Tip:
If you have a difficult boss, and no amount of hard work or
going that extra mile will make him or her nicer, you might want to
try...Saying thank you more. 

That's right- The simple act of saying thanks when he or she
shows you how to do a report, finish a project or do a new task, 

will pay big dividends.
Why does it work? Your boss or supervisor may not have the confidence
or may feel unappreciated, so he or she lashes out at you and your coworkers. 

But, when you say thanks, it reassures him or her that they're doing a good job,
which makes him or her feel more appreciated and in the end, more calmer
and nicer. 

So, it may look like you're kissing his or her butt, but don't let your coworkers
get to you, what you're really doing is making that 8, 9 or 10 hrs. a lot
easier to get through.

Hair Care Tip From Carrie Underwood!

Carrie Underwood, the new darling of country music, certainly doesn't look
the part. You know, when most people think of country music-they think
of tight jeans, big hair, and  sequined gowns.
But not Ms. Underwood, she's dresses elegantly and tastefully. And her hair,
also looks elegant and professionally done.
So, if you've ever seen Ms. Underwood with a "Side Bun" and decided
"I'd like that look," continue reading and learn how to do it yourself.

To do...

Secure hair in a low side ponytail with a rubber band. (If you braided your hair
before doing this, the ponytail should have a gentle wave for added texture
and volume).

Next, twist a 2 inch section of the tail into haphazard curls and pin them near the
rubber band, Continue pinning sections until all of your hair is pulled up.
Wearing your hair this way, gives the illusion of volume to fine hair
and slims down your face.

Adele's Rx For An Embarrassing Health Problem!

                        Drink Like Adele! 

Adele, the ultrapopular singer and songwriter from England, like most
Brits loves tea. Tea to a singer boosts health in a number of ways.
Soothe dry throats, repair vocal cords and end the embarrassing
problem known as foot odor.

Now, we aren't saying Adele has any problems with foot odor,
we haven't seen or heard anything to suggest it, but what we are
saying is- if you or a loved one suffers from embarrassing foot odor,
then it's time to do like the Brits.

No, not drink it, but make a big pot of black tea, allow to cool,
pour it into a big basin, and place your feet in the tea.
Leave your feet in there for 15 to 20 mins. and then rinse off
and dry your feet. Doing this a few times a week, and foot odor
should be a thing of the past.
That's It- When a spot of tea does more than quench your thirst.

Jessica Alba-movie star, mom of 2, activist and now-creator of green
products. Ms. Alba is so concerned about the health of her children and
the welfare of all children, she's decided to do something about it. 

That something: Create and sell cleaning products that aren't just great
for the environment, but they won't harm your health or the health of your
loved ones.

Ms. Alba is right on, some researchers say that a steady use of oven cleaners,
air freshners and scented cleaning products put us all at risk for everything
from Asthma to certain cancers, particularly breast cancer.
And if you remember, Songstress Donna Summer just died. Some say it was her time
in New York, when the towers came down (9/11) and the dust that was flowing around
that caused it. But, new reports say-Ms. Summer was a stickler about cleaniness, and
was constantly spraying germ repellants  (Lysol) and air freshners around.

Well, if you're the type who sees yourself in the above description, perhaps it's
time to rethink that decision and "go green" and one way to start.

or other types of commercial cleaners, it's time to put them down (for good) and use
the mouthwash. 



Use a mouthwash to get rid of dirt and grime? Not only will it get rid
of dirt and stains, it kills germs and leaves the bathroom smelling sweet and minty.

and her pregnancy.

Well, if you too, are in the early stages of your pregnancy or if you
just delivered, maybe you would like to know about the exciting news from
the journal called "Pedriatrics."

Good News Tip No. 1-
Pregnant women who get 15 to 20 minutes of Sun a day, without sunscreen,
helps future offspring build strong bones.
Important tip: The Sunshine only goes so far, they'll (the kids)
have to eat right, 
fruits, veggies, lean meat, fish, nuts, good fats,
whole grains, 
a good quality milk, no sugary (or very few) soft drinks
and plenty 
of exercise.
