The Christmas Carol That Helps You Stay Slim!

A Classic From Nat King Cole!

Some of you out there may only be familiar with Mariah Carey's
Christmas classic --"All I Want For Christmas Is You!"

but hold on, long before Mimi's hit song there were tons of great
Christmas songs, like... "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas,
"Have a Holly Jolly Christmas" "Silver Bells" and of course the
holiday favorite- "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire" by the incomparable
Nat King Cole.

Yes, the father of superstar Natalie Cole had a monster hit on his hands
after releasing it and if you're one who not only enjoys the song,
but the actual chestnuts as well, then you're in luck.

What kind of luck?
According to new research, the lowly (and often ignored) chestnuts are one
of the lowest fat nuts around and that small amount of fat can do wonders
for your waistline.

Yes, that's right, nuts have gotten a lot of attention of late,
you know, walnuts to control dandruff and prevent the Winter blues,
pecans to keep skin smooth and alleviate the monthly pain a lot of

women experience (PMS) and almonds, natural aspirin, (headache relief)
and cancer fighters, but there's very little on chestnuts.
Until now, and research says that chestnuts contain vitamin C,
a vitamin that helps break down fat, especially fat that tries to settle around
your middle and speeds up your metabolism.

So,  if you plan on indulging in nuts this holiday season, remember the song by
Nat King Cole and (the actual nuts) chestnuts.

And lastly, if you aren't sure how to roast chestnuts, head on over to
Google.com and type how to roast chestnuts in the search bar.

Good Luck!
